Story
Introduction
I'm a shopper marketer, retail designer, and visual merchant that has been creating physical and digital shopping experiences for more than 20 years. I’ve worked for many of the largest retail and product brands in the US including Blockbuster, Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart, Virgin, T-Mobile, Verizon, Microsoft, Levi’s and Proctor & Gamble.

I'm particularly interested in increasingly complex and unique customer journeys we all make as we matriculate through our decisions making processes, and how the various digital and physical touch-points help or hinder that path to purchase.
Bragging rights
My work has won numerous awards including POPAI Display of the Year, CEA Best of Innovation, and VM+SD Store of the Year. I’m also a frequent speaker who has appeared at CES, Global Shop, Trex, At-Retail Media, Ad:Tech, AMA, Digital Signage Expo, KioskCom, NARMS, VSDA, and many other events.

Best Ice Cream in Chicago bar none. The flavors are delicious and well worth the minor hassle of trying to figure out when they are open (they seem closed for random months during the winter). Make sure you bring cash, because they are the last business in America that doesn't accept credit cards.

I moved to Chicago from Portland, PR, and needed to find a replacement for my beloved Voodoo donuts. Doughnut Vault is it for sure, the doughnuts are delicious but they have a little bit of the soup nazi thing going, where they only offer a few varieties and when they run out, they run out.

Growing up in San Diego, I'm a big fan of Mexican cuisine, and for casual Mexican in Chicago it doesn't get better than Xoco. Save room for Churros!

A great place to have a casual dinner... the taco's are yummie, but don't forget the guacamole and a margarita!
