My husband and I eat here often as it is our favorite neighborhood restaurant. We have never had a bad experience and have always been served with efficiency, courtesy, and humor You have to try Brian's Creamsicle cocktail. Sooo absolutely delish and refreshing and tastes like the real thing. Tonight we started our meal with the toast tips with roasted eggplant, peppers, capers, garlic and pine nuts. Broiled to perfection, it was the perfect chaser to my cocktail. As an entrée, I had the Portobello mushroom ravioli with the spicy marinara sauce. and my husband had the steamed clams in white wine sauce. Both were super fresh, flavorful, and had just the right touch of garlic We finished the meal with the chocolate cake with vanilla bean ice cream. The cake was so surprisingly moist and the vanilla ice cream added just the right compliment to the rich dark chocolate. If you are looking for a delightful dining experience with a reasonable tab, visit Amarsi. You will be glad you did!

Full disclosure I was a groupon customer. our final check was $26 after a $40 groupon. a party of three. To start there was only one soup available. And it was some blender mix tomato and basil thing. I almost sent it back. The parties with me ordered the Alfredo and mushrooms. I ordered the daily special Alfredo mushrooms and veal. the veal was full of Gristle and very chewy. I do need to say that my server was very friendly from start to finish. I am the type that will never send them think back to the kitchen. You never know what would come back.

We enjoyed a fantastic diner along with service that was better than 1ST Rate! Our experience was one that was very special as we were on a mission to have a very special evening and Elaine and I have never been more satisfied and we have been doing this together for the last 50 YRS. We started with a few appetizers, stuffed mushrooms, shrimp cocktail, antipasto for 1, brochette, and calamari. All of the starters were just delightful and then it was onto our main dishes, we had the sea food cioppina and this is the very best we have ever had, the rich broth is to dream about. If Italian is your fare of choice, then get ready to FALL IN LOVE with Amarsi. I almost forgot if you enjoy wine or a cocktail this bar is one of the best you will find!

Give yourself a break and walk on by.Food was horrible blan, umimaginitive, way overpriced for the quality of food. The owner sat us at a dinky (even though we asked for a bigger one) little table adorned with dead flowers in cloudy water and a smeared glass with a dead tea light candle in it. Had an appetizer it was poor, two entrees, 2 drinks, two glasses of wine. With the 15% coupon (which triggers an automatic 18% gratuity) the bill came $95.00. If you want food on par or better, go down the street to the olive garden, you'll leave more satisfied. There can only be 2 reasons this place is in buisness, location and the fact old people can't taste anything.

One of the more pricey restaurants around but worth it. Since I have eaten there the prices have come down from about $80 a couple to about $60. The food is delicious and the wines are well presented. The desserts are excellent. The portions are not large but is expected in an upscale restaurant. Don't go to this restaurant in shorts and don't take your kids either. I don't go often but I enjoy the times I do.
