Sammy explaining what he wants for Christmas to Chippy. He is showing Chippy the photos we took at Toysrus today from my phone.

Three years ago, Sammy and I had this exchange.  The photo was taken by my amazing friend +HeyHippieHey at Cannon Beach, Oregon.  It's still probably my favorite photo.
Joe: "You're my boy"
Sammy: "You're my daddy"
J: "I love you, Son"
S: "I love you, Dad"
- best conversation ever.

+Emily Wierenga's book is a beautifully written memoir.  I was privileged to interview her last month for +Frequency.fm.  Listen and share with friends.
Ep. 25 is live and features excellent conversation w/ #AtlasGirl author Emily T. Wierenga. Queue it up: http://buff.ly/ZHwinD

As I'm standing witness to my daughter as she navigates the pains of life as a young adult, this song by +Flyleaf feels like the perfect soundtrack.

"It's hard to dance, dance, dance through the avalanche"

Discovered this quote on a blog post by +Mandy Thompson.  Really resonated with me and reminds me how grateful I am to have a day job that provides me the financial security to pursue my passions.
Today's #MorningQuote - Spot on thoughts by Anne Pruitt re: pressure on artists to earn a living.

Chatting with Nick was a great way to spend the day. Can't wait to the rest.
We sneaked #podcast Ep. 24 out last night. A fantastic chat w/ Nick de Partee about big life changes: http://buff.ly/1tHWafN

I listened to this album probably half a dozen times today. Good stuff.

"Because you can't become healed, truly healed, unless you revisit the past. Unless you revisit all of those aching, pulsing places and invite God into them."

Here's something kind of fun.  +Dan Thomson were interviewed by the fine folks at +Goodberry for their podcast to discuss our work with +Frequency.fm.  Though my fragile self-image prevents me from actually watching this myself, perhaps you would be brave and check it out on my behalf...
