#mindfulness 5: Have you ever thought about .... growing roots? This is how to ...

When strongs winds blow you have two options (at least): Getting blown away like a dancing balloon... or growing roots to withhold your stand ... for the latter put your feet to the ground... both... bare ... flat ... about a foot apart ... feel the soles ... the toes ... the heels...how do they feel? ...if you don't feel them, move them a little...how do they feel? ... alike or different? ... do you feel one stronger than the other? ... are they standing still or is there an inner movement? a pulse? an impulse? ... just register ... maybe follow ... then feel both feet and feel the ground ... connect to the soil ... strong and ready ... open and receiving ... and feel how from your soles a growth process initiates ... at first it can barely be felt ... how small soft tiny roots start to grow from your feet ... growing stronger each bit of a second ... slowly, very slowly ... making their way downwards ... to where fresh water and all kinds of nutrients are stored... endles resources ... full storages of energy, power, life... the roots you are growing will hold... whatever is up to come ... wherever your place is ... this is your place... this place is yours ... you are the place ... you feel the wind ... and realize that it can blow ... turbulently ... whilst your roots hold ... cant be disturbed ... inside ... down there ... you are completele and entirely calm and stable ...

#Mindfulness X-tra: Have you ever connected with ... yourself? This is one way:

Imagine yourself in front of a mirror. Full size. Look at you. There are things you might not like ... there are things you might like... about your "self"... this is you... not more ... not less. Look into your eyes... go closer ... what do you see? ... eyes are age-less ... eyes are the mirror of your soul ... mirror is the window to your soul ... sink in ... to yourself ... with the comfort of knowing that this is you ... you are sinking into ... this is how it feels being inside you ... being ... as you are sinking to a room where your self is centered ... where your confidence, creativity and joyfulness reside ... look around ... how does it look like? ... how does it feel? ... Maybe there is a need of refurbishment ... so whilst you are here you realize... there is some action taking place ... without doing ... a comfortably soothing and refreshing tuning ... a careful cleansing and smoothing .. of your qualities ... so that you can rest assured that this doing is going on in a constant flow with out your doing ... just the way and intensity your self needs ... so that you can start each day with a refreshed confidence, a renewed vitality that allows you to unfold ...

#Mindfulness 4: Have you ever connected with ... a predator? Take a deep breath... this one is going to be powerful

Close your eyes ... imagine ... a jungle ... a green mass of vegetation ... sunlight blinking ... leaves rustling ... you in midst ... moving slowly ... cautiously ... one paw after the other ... without a sound ... scenting ... the musky scent of decay and blooming ... of ... prey! ... your hearing totally focused ... your mind locking out all unnecessities ... locking in on ... prey ... you don't see it - you feel it ... the power of each single muscle ... under your full control ... your sight narrowing down ... your power centering comfortably ... your senses slowing down ... to full and comfortabel relaxation and security and self-assuredness ... of knowing that you will decide when ... you will decide how ... ... ... as you jump ...

#Mindfulness 3: Have you ever connected with... a grain of sand? This is how to. #positivepsychology

Close your eyes. Yes - you can - even whilst reading, you can imagine closing your inner eyes. So imagine closing your eyes.... Take some time to breathe....with the comfort of knowing that any way you breathe is just fine and needs no change... so breathe...and whilst you are breathing imagine making your way to a beautiful strech of beach.... with or without ocean... sit down... lay down ... feel ... your back against the comfortable warmth of the sand ... how it perfectly suits you... feel the dry sand running through your fingers...sink in... feel the sand ... feel sand... be ... just one of a myriad grains of ... sand... feel the comfort of being one of a myriad ... no special expectations ... no needs to proove ... all are alike ... and not one is the same ... feel the power of being able to team with the myriad of grains ... to build dunes ... create stretches of land ... and feel the lightness of being just this one grain ... that allows you to fly with the wind ... and go wherever ... without the others ... feel that maybe you are one of the few that are aware of their existence... enjoy...

#Mindfulness 2: Have you ever connected with ... a gold fish? This is how to. #positivepsychology

Close your eyes. Imagine a garden with a beautiful pond. Go closer. Watch the golden fish. Sane and safe. Peaceful. Lower your face to the surface. Closer....till your nose touches the water. Comfortably cool and fresh. Plunge in. Watch the fish.... feel like fish.... be fish....feel the nothingness in the mind...the silence of being under water...the comfort of floating...drifting... swaying...through the clear medium... aimless... effortless...timeless. Nothing to do. Nowhere to rush. Nothing to think of. Just hanging around... with golden skin...blinking in the sunlight...a beauty...without being aware... Enjoy the freedom of nothing to think...nothing to want... nothing to need ... comfortably cool and fresh....feel the deep comfort of being being enough.

#Mindfulness No1: Have you ever connected with ... a tree? This is how to. #positivepsychology

Look around. Choose a tree that appeals to you for being somwhat special. Watch it. Take your time... What makes it special? ... Go closer. Closer. Until you can touch it. Smell it. Lean against it. Close your eyes. Feel the bark. Listen to the leaves. Feel the strength. Feel the age. Feel its destination to grow. Live. Feel the roots. Reaching deep into the ground. Channeling water and minerals to the furthest of its leaves way up in the sky. The leaves that capture the sun and turn energy into life. Feel the sun. Feel the wholeness of this tree. It has been there for some time, maybe decades, and will continue to be. Take everything in. Take it in with deep breath. With full breath. Until your thirst and hunger are appeased. And you feel fresh from your roots to the furthest of your extremeties. Take it in. ... Now...Have you ever connected with a tree?
