Feeling a bit "peckish" today. Time for something just a bit twisted.

Tablets  -

Howdy all. I'm relatively new to both the community, and to Android devices. I see lots of phones on parade here, but few tablets. Is there any love for the tablets here. My first Android device is the little Toshiba Excite Go. So far it seems to be right for me, though there are two pesky issues for me. One is the hit or miss ability for the WiFi to hook and stay hooked (online search shows this is somewhat common with Kit-Kat). Next, the inability to move and store apps to my memory card is a bit of a bugger. Anyone have any feedback to share with regards to this device? And before anyone suggests setting fire to it, burying  it, shooting it into space, etc, I've been quite pleased with this little tablet so far, so total destruction is not being considered at this time. Thanks.

A huge loss to the galaxy today. Leonard Nimoy, the actor most known for portraying Spock in the Star Trek series has passed away at 83. Star Trek was one of the first shows that I watched on a regular basis with my father (a "bonding" show). Mr Nimoy was also an incredible photographer. He will be missed by his millions of fans worldwide. R.I.P. Mr Nimoy, may you now have the chance to explore the galaxy that you spent so many years on T.V. and the big screen exploring for the rest of us.

Business owner and all around tech nerd
Introduction
Currently married for nearly 30 years, with a whole herd of kids and grandkids. I have lived in Redlands, Ca for several years, relaxing and enjoying it's Mayberry-like atmosphere. In my off time, you're likely to find me spending time with the family, working on the restoration of my 1890s craftsman home, haunting one of the many local coffee shops, or, sneaking in some reading or writing.
As to my business, I've been a computer nerd for a bunch of years. This has translated into a business that involves building custom computers, following tech trends, training, and consulting.

This place is very nice, with very good products and super service. A nice thing is their daily selection of both coffees AND teas. Baked goods are normally quite good, but some are seasonal ( I love their cheddar chive scones, but these are a winter only offering ). And as one other reviewer noted, their coffee is easier on the stomach.

CLOSED AS OF AUGUST 2012. This is just being added as an update. The Humidor is now closed, and has been for quite a while. It had transferred to another owner, and operated under the new name "Nicks Cigar Nest", but this too is now closed. ( Closed as of August 2012) Too bad, because the Humidor was a very nice place to do business, but owners had to move on.

First, let it be known this shop is now closed (as of late June, 2012). It's sad, but not surprising. While the selection was decent, and prices not bad (for a small shop), it's biggest issue (HUGE, actually) was inconsistency in operating hours. I can't count the number of times I went to the store to pick up a few sticks for my golf weekends, only to find the store closed. In a tough economy, and with the anti-smoking groupies, you'd figure you'd do everything in your power to keep a business of this sort operating, but I guess it just wasn't important enough to keep the owner interested. Shame, really.

This place is great. It's not what one would consider "dine-in" though. (it's more of a take-out type place). Food is served in good sized portions, but for those with a real appetite, you have the option of going EXTRA LARGE on those burritos. Service is relatively fast, even during rush hours. Some bark about prices, but prices are very reasonable when compared to "big box" mexican places. My family and I have been loyal customers for over 25 years for a reason, YUMMY FOOD! When you have the chance, try the garbage burrito, or chile relleno burrito. You won't be disappointed.
