Repurposing your Social Media...

It is important to plan your Social Media, keep things efficient and effective. It can be a very nice place to be, meeting people from your industry / sector, learning, sharing and growing you and your business...

One often overlooked efficiency trick is to 'repurpose' your best content. Here's a blog on how that can be done saving you time, increasing your reach and growing an engaged audience... What's not to like wink emoticon

2016 will be increasingly about 'relevant' content. So we need to know our Brand, client persona's, talk one to one and avoid mixed messages.
Here's a blog on brand, focus and your on line audience.

Twitter rolling out Polls to all users

Over the next couple of days Twitter will be rolling out 'Polls' to all users.

Twitter being an 'opt in' platform, this is a great opportunity to engage your followers, endorsing their views and opinions and gathering some great data.

Better still, anyone can vote on your Poll, which is cool for extending your reach and attracting new followers (bear that in mind when choosing your poll subject, keep your focus, make sure the poll is 'on topic' so you continue to attract the right followers

Polls will be active for 24 hours and the votes remain private.

Looking forward to this one.

I have been experimenting with Twitters livecasting app - Periscope.  Checking out how its being used, early days, but there's already plenty of inventive early adopters gaining competitive advantage.

I have blogged on what I have observed - and its here :D

LinkedIn appear to have changed their position on who you can send invitations to connect too.  Here's a couple of blogs discussing my evolving connection strategies .... and LinkedIn's connection strategies.  As ever comments welcome.

Oh - and it doesn't seem right to blog about LinkedIn connection strategies without inviting you to connect, so here's my linkedin profile www.linkedin.com/in/mickholloway

You think Facebook are bullying us by restricting the reach of our posts?

Not at all.

A short blog discussing what's behind Facebooks, admittedly slightly compromised, strategy to keep us engaged and enjoying our time in facebook - and NOT wandering off elsewhere...
