You're welcome to see Dr. Jones if you'd like to be a guinea pig for unproven, controversial medicine with black box warnings that advise against his treatment plans. He prescribed me medication for my condition for which the manufacturer was sued - and lost - nine years ago. I originally met him at an inpatient facility and, as his word was what kept me in or out, went with what he said. I've since switched doctors (my job takes me around the country quite a bit), all of whom find his diagnosis and treatment plan laughable. I'd rather drive 90 minutes to see a good doctor than deal with his specific brand of medicine. Aside from the horrific wait times, disgusting wait room and completely impersonal experience, I was also dumped as a patient (for "abusing medication") because I had an emergency to which he refused to respond and an inpatient stay ("abusing medication") that was a direct result of his prescriptions - and during which I was immediately discharged by one of his close colleagues. Do you really want a doctor who won't call you back when you page his emergency number? The only reason I'm giving him two stars instead of one is that his office staff are excellent. Unfortunately the boss doesn't reflect the quality of employees he hires. Thanks, Dr. Jones, for making me one of your science experiments gone wrong.
