Hello Google+ its been awhile,

Over the next little bit I am going to be posting some of what I have been up to lately and the projects I have been working. :)

Last year I Caught up with +Leonard Metcalf for a chat and a morning photoshoot, the video we made was entered into My Rode Reel and ended up being the most voted for Australia film in the documentary category.

13/9/2014 – Lone Ranger

Ive been wanting to get back to this location after discovering it last year and the whole surrounding area has been on my list to explore for much longer.

The chance finally came up when heading down for the last Snow camping trip of the season, and we all wanted to shoot something a little different on the way down.

Pulling off the road and pulling up at what looked like the spot (I never GPS’d it last time) I was so happy to find this tree again and blown away that it was in flower (it’s a Wattle tree I think) as last time it was just leaves.

The sunrise wasn’t too bad either everything came together very nice.

8/9/2014 – Castle made of Sand

I took a drive out to Bare Island before heading in to work as I have always wanted to check out the tower near there.

The sky did not have any clouds (at this point in the day but when I arrived at work later the entire CBD was shrouded in mist) but made for some fantastic graduations in the western sky.

7/9/2014 – Gorokan Pier

A grey dawn on the central coast, but allowed for some smooth reflections.

I really liked the desaturated nature of this image, and the roosting birds just add extra interest.

Sydney Rock Pools
This small pool near Coogee was a really nice place to spend a sunrise. The shape of the pool and the poles on the edge make for some great compositional elements.

On this morning the swell was pretty big so I tried to keep an eye on it, even so I got me a few times, came home very wet and nearly lost a camera
