I miss the West Course, a cheaper track that fit my game well and was maintained pretty well when I first started playing here in 2010/11. They sold that and invested wholly in the East, and while I definitely think the regular rates are too high, the course is a steal at twilight. Friendly staff, crowds aren't an issue (at least late in the day), good challenge, and 2 absolutely beautiful holes in 3 and 18. Greens have had minor issues every time I've played, but all in all, solid golf course, and if you play weekdays or weekend twilight, definitely worth the money.

Golfed here about two weeks ago. It was just fine. Fairways needed a little help. Guess only east course is left and west now being closed. There are others well worth the price for your money. And have gone to davie and woodlands west course.

I planned my Engagement Party there recently and I do have to say it had to be the WORST experience of my life, I was assisted by Desiree & Patty was MIA entire time. She didn't know anything beside running everything through her mom Patty. They raised my prices from my previous contract and didn't let me know until i noticed it later that evening and didnt bother to email me after 7 emails I sent and didnt get a response till the day before my party, like i had nothing better to do then to deal w/ their non-sense . I even dropped off my table decorations like i was told in the morning at 10am and Desiree was OBLVIOUS till 45 mins until guests (party scheduled at 8pm) arrived and came to ask me what to do w/ them then actually HELPING ME set up my room. Steak dishes was disguisting and you will NEVER see me step foot in there ever again. I usually like to do my events at the JAcaranda country club in plantation they're extremely understanding and professional and I like to keep it that way.

The golf course is a joke...not worth $65 should be a $25 track.. Weeds in the greens, weeds in the fair ways, should have know when you have a rake on the cart. Mats on the range.... April 3, 2014

The golf pro (Randy Weber) at Bonaventure and his staff treated our group like family. We look forward to playing the course again next year. The course was in good condition and the lay out emphasizes on ball control. Bonaventure is always improving on the course conditions. Good value. Thanks, Paul H.

They left a note in the cart saying they had just renovated the east course and were closing down 9 holes on the west course. They should close this place altogether. The course was in terrible condition and for the money they charge it should be a lot better. The bathroom in the clubhouse is like a bus terminal bathroom. The restaurant wasn't any better. They didn't have enough staff to cover the amount of people in the restaurant and it wasn't even full. This was on a Saturday afternoon. I will never play here again.

Bonaventure is a sprawling resort. It's walkway is adjacent to a quaint pond, and across from their own golf course. You can see some wildlife there such as ducks, turtles and fishies. Centrally located is their pool with a waterfall right in the middle. We tried their bar, and the food OK at best. I wouldn't mind staying here again if I'm back in Fort Lauderdale.

Bonaventure Comedy Club is more like it, this place is a joke! -You can hear gunshots from the firing range across the highway -half the fairways were covered in knee-high weeds, I had to pull 3 weeds for one shot just so I had a clear swing -the tee boxes aren't flat, some had long grass -greens had clover patches, hard brown dirt, sand, and bumps where the previous holes were dug -Bunkers are hard as clay, I putted out of every one -one bunker had more water and bird crap in it than sand -golf cart had no brakes, and they make you drive across the road multiple times -they let anyone on here, I saw multiple golfers hitting 30 yard shots, repeatedly Only redeeming feature was the restaurant, skip the course and grab a burger.
