Max wine dive where do I start. This was my first time eating here and last. I love the atmosphere of the place . My boyfriend and I always enjoy sitting at the bar at any restaurant. The bar faces the cooking area at this location. I've heard their chicken is amazing so I ordered it. While watching the two men cooking in this area. One of them were using a towel for everything, to pick up , wipe his hands etc EVERYTHING . Then use the same towel to squeeze the collared greens out and placed them on a plate to serve. I was in shock . After watching him make our food (which he didn't use the towel because mine went in to a bowl. The manager which was helping out brought our food to us. I spoke with about we just watched he brushed it off. No apologies or concerns and went on to serve food . Another manager came by to see how everything was. I told him as well about it and he said sorry about and brushed it off. I then went to read their reviews which is something I normally do anyway. For my first experience at this place my boyfriend and I were very disappointed. So if you have gotten sick from here this is probably why.

This was my first time here. The food was completely tasteless. It tasted of pure grease. The macaroni tasted off. The chicken was undercooked, my friend got sick after eating here. The food upset my stomach really bad. It will NEVER go back there or recommended anyone to go there. Many of my friends on fb said the same thing. I paid 27$ for crap food. Extremely disappointing

Shrimp n Grits was just OK...Chicken & Greens were delicious! Great service and ambiance. I will be back soon. I took my off one star because I had my tastebuds so set on the shrimp n grits, but it was just bland. Other than that, loved the place.

Love this place. Everything we've had has been amazing. We usually go for brunch. The chicken fried lobster with creme bruleed French toast and greens is out of this world!
