Traveled from Milwaukee for the NCAA tourney. The folks of Omaha are so welcoming and this prt of the city is a must see. Lots of outdoor dining options. Twisted Fork was a great spot. Smaller but high ceilings meant I could have a normal conversation. LOVED the wings with a local brew followed by blue cheese tenderloin. Service A+ by down-home people that care about what they do!

Twisted Fork is a nice little restaurant to go to. The first time I went I wasn't greeted and we just left which was a bit of a negative experience. I decided to try again and I've enjoyed it every time I've gone since. The food is great, I recommend the chicken fried bacon. Also their buffalo chicken sandwich is great, a little messy, but great!

Food was delicious, drinks were great. Happy hour prices are a nice perk after 9 and the BBQ pork sliders are awesome! The manager, Liz was terrific. Best costumer service I've had anywhere in a long time. My girlfriend always enjoys coming here on date night. Affordable and a good atmosphere.

This is one of our favorite places to go when visiting Omaha--so much so that we are going to Omaha to get married in the Old Market area. Try the smoked gouda mac and cheese-talk about comfort food. It was the special on one of our visits and was served with lobster chunks in it. The heated outdoor dining area is great and makes dining outside during cooler times enjoyable. Recommend getting a reservation. I know it sounds strange, but try the chicken-fried bacon. Be adventurous!

Stopped here for dinner on our short trip to Omaha. As we were walking through the The Old Market, the outdoor dining and smells roped us in to trying this lovely place. Decor was simple, but nice. Kinda hipster/trendy, but not over the top. Some velvet, some faux (and real) animal heads on the wall. The waitstaff was very friendly and visited our table the appropriate amount of times. Food was delicious and fresh. BF got the French dip and I got the Knife and Fork Caesar Salad. Not a single complaint about the food, service or experience. We loved it!

We visited Omaha and a friend recommended we stop here for dinner. It's a really quaint and cute little place. We went around 7 PM on a Saturday night and there was no wait which was awesome. I ordered the 12 oz steak. It was cooked perfectly but it was topped with a pepper gravy that was way too peppery for my taste. It had entire chunks of peppercorn which was not pleasant to bite into. It came with mashed potatoes and a side of veggies which was literally 5 slices of squash. My steak was $25 which I wouldn't say was great for what I got, but at any rate I was happy enough.

The chicken fried bacon is okay but I was expecting the bacon to be crunchy, the Mac and cheese is okay but Ten bucks for half a bowl of Mac and cheese and it was dry and pasty (tasted old). The patty melt is awesome. Our waitress about killed us with thirst. VERY rich food. Greasy and heavy. I won't be back simply because the food wasn't worth the price.
