On this day in 1760, Paul Revere was initiated in to Saint Andrew's Lodge in Boston. He held several offices for the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, and ultimately served as Grand Master from 1795-1797.

This portrait hangs in the ‪#‎BostonMasonicBuilding‬. It was painted by Miss Jane Stuart, and is a copy of the 1813 original done by her father, Gilbert Stuart, the famous portrait painter.
