Had a really delicious meal here on Tuesday night. Pleasant ambience. Lovely staff. Timely service. Perfectly cooked salt and pepper squid, breaded cod and pan fried trout. Ample portions. It was just yummy! Will definitely go back soon.

Negatives: food, service, speed Positives: Wines The waiting staff were friendly but rushed and not well briefed on the menu. After asking the waiter for advice we ordered a "large" seafood platter to share between our group for starter; unfortunately the portion size was tiny, and they got the side order we had with it wrong. For mains, the fish was generally overcooked, the sides were OK. The sea bass with aubergine arrived without aubergine, with the waiter claiming that he'd warned us of this and offered chips instead - not something anyone on our table could remember happening. Besides all this, each course took around 45 minutes to arrive. On the plus side, they did promise us 20% off because of our complaints... and then failed to give it to us on the bill until we'd queried it *twice*. It then worked out at £29pp - including 2/3 of a bottle of wine each - still way overpriced for the quality of the food.

Been here several times and keep coming back. Besides being the place I've brought several visitors to have the outstanding fish and chips with amazing mint flavoured peas, the mix-and-match-your-own-fish is a great deal and has never failed to satiate my love for fish meat. I'd also like to point out the always friendly service. Either I've gotten lucky or there must be some great management behind this place to invoke such great smiles from the staff on each occasion I've visited. Amazing people that deserve a serious tip.

Great food, simply, perfectly cooked. You can choose what fish you want to eat and have it cooked exactly like you want. Nice choice of sides too. The place is simply elegant, almost minimalistic. Service is quick and staff nice.

Best fish EVER!! Came across this restaraunt and was recommended it by my boyfriend. The fish is very fresh and the sauces and accompaniments to go with it was really good. I will definitely recommend the jerk fish with was absolutely fantastic and you have to try the cheesecake!! It is actually to die for!
