Destiny 2 was one of 2017/8's biggest failures. The studio behind D2 Bungie signed a 10 year publishing deal with Activision back in 2010. This is now coming to an end, and Bungie look set to go at things solo. After this latest failure this move is probably the best thing for Bungie, when looking at the long term future of the Destiny brand.

World of Tanks has been facing a decline in player numbers on the EU and NA servers. QuickyBaby one of the most popular WOT content creators raised issues and concerns, followed by a wishlist video. Valve's latest game Artifact launched to mixed responses from gamers mainly due to the games business model which offered very little in terms of progression and no way to earn cards without getting your wallet out. Whatever your stance on this issue, seeing the playerbase drop by 80.9% in just 3 weeks doesn't spell a good start, and is likely to continue if Valve don't start talking to players.

UK Gambling Commission releases report on youth gambling and also includes some information regarding loot boxes and ingame items. Although betting skins requires a license in the UK, they don't see loot boxes as gambling which is a hot topic in gaming and has been for some time. What do you think regarding this latest report?

After not meeting the expectations during the open beta Creative Assembly has decided to close down Total War: Arena effective from February 2019. The post sharing this news did say that developers will still be working on the Total War brand. So stay tuned I guess.

EA is currently running a sale (Scary Savings) which has some of its most popular titles reduced by up to 80%. The best deal is Battlefield 1 + Season Pass for under £10. How long the sale will last has not been stated which is odd. For this reason I wouldn't wait around if there is something you want on sale.

EA/Origin Scary Savings Halloween Sale has got a some massive savings on some of their top selling titles. We highly recommend checking this one out. My games library started growing again when I saw some of these savings.

The best deal has got to be Battlefield 1 + Season pass for just £9.16

I would love to know how many of these bundles have been sold. I would never spend £600+ on Activision titles. Pretty much everything they touch dies. Of course it has to be milked dry first though.
