I had been dying to go to this restaurant to try the much talked about chicken and waffles! I was able to sample three dishes from the menu the chicken and waffles, salmon sorbet, and shrimp and grits. I have to say my favorite was the shrimp and grits. I loved how they fried the grits into a patty and placed the shrimp on top and added a signature sauce. The chicken and waffles were good as well they give you three dipping sauces and trust me when I say dip the sticks in all of them! I bypassed the hot sauce until my last bite and it was the kick it needed! What makes the chicken and waffles so unique is they cook them much like a corn dog. The restaurant is divided into two section one section is the restaurant and the other side is more of a lounge area with live music.

Our personal experience with this location... We made reservations six weeks prior to our wedding held over the weekend. Upon showing up for the reservation we find the restaurant had decided to cancel it and with a party of 16 they didn't have space for us to dine. Their solution? For us to go split up in the bar with standing room only and spend out money there. Thankfully across the street there was another restaurant that was happy to make room for us and even gifted some champagne for celebrating and apologizing for the poor service of their competitor.

It's amazing what an old bookstore can become. 10th and Piedmont now occupies the space and oh how beautiful it is. I was fortunate enough to attend a Food crawl event there and it was a great first stop. The decor is awesome!! Art pieces grace the wall and are for sale as one was marked sold! I love it!! It was modern and artistic and beautiful. The tables were set up beautifully and it was such a welcoming ambiance. The food, only compliments the decor. I had the pleasure of trying the infamous Chicken and Waffle, Smoked Salmon Mousse and Shrimp on a Grit cake. Stop, look and listen. The Chicken and Waffle, not what you would expect. It looks like a corn dog on a stick. But don't be fooled it is delicious!! the Chicken was tender and juicy!! and you dip in in a trio of syrup, powdered sugar and hot sauce! Can you say, give me more please! The Shrimp on a Grit cake was equally delicious. Shrimp perfectly cooked. The grits were in a cake and with the vodka gravy it was wonderful. For the Smoked Salon mousse, don't get me wrong, I love smoked salmon but the mouse was not something I really liked. Its okay if you want a subtle smoked salmon taste. The staff was awesome and i never had an empty water glass. I definitely will be back! Parking in the area can be tough but they have valet. It's a small lot so be prepared for it to be full on a busy night. They also have happy hour on food during the week from 5-7pm for 50% select apps. Go get you some.

So so good. Everything is! I've been here a couple of times and have had quite a few items on the menu. The brunch is fantastic. Now, on to the chicken and waffles. The best ever... In ever. Waffle battered chicken on a stick served with 3 condiments. Syrup, powdered sugar, Sriracha. Dip it in all 3 and your mind will be blown!

To my knowledge, this used to be an old bookstore -- and boy they've done wonders to transform it into 10th & P. The decor is rustic and fresh. The food is Southern style and prepared very well. I tried the chicken and waffles and I really enjoyed them. Great location in the heart of Midtown.

I had the opportunity to sample a few menu items during a recent Dish Crawl for City Experts. The restaurant staff was super friendly and attentive. The decor was very nice. Chef Javier Viera took a few moments to introduce himself and to describe the menu items that we would sample. The Bee Hive Martini was refreshing. We had the opportunity to taste the Signature Chicken & Waffles, Shrimp On Grits and Smoked Salmon Mousse in phyllo cups. All were favorite was the Shrimp On Grits!! Will spread the word about 10th & Piedmont.

10th & Piedmont Experience for Southern Foodie Crawl sponsored by DishCrawl: Chef Javier Viera does an inspired Global-Southern fusion menu. His signature Chicken & Waffles dish is quite unique, and has been featured on the Food Network. He also just added the Smoked Salmon Mousse Phyllo Cups to the menu with Bee Hive Martini. The chicken & Waffle was breathtaking with the combination of confectionary sugar and syrup for dipping. The shrimp & grits was perfectly seasoned and a must try.

Came here with some friends on a Sunday for brunch and had such a great time. We sat all the way in the back G room also known as the game room. On the wall, the had lots of games for us to enjoy while we waited for our food. They have All you Care to Drink mimosas in different flavors. My favorite flavor was pineapple. $16.95 for the mimosas so we made sure to keep drinking so we could get our moneys worth. I ended up ordering the breakfast wrap with chicken (you can also order it with steak). It was very delicious and enjoyable. It had potatoes, eggs, cheese, and sausage. It came with salsa and sour cream on the side. Someone put me on to the vodka sauce they have. I put that on the wrap and that was delicious too. Our server was fun and friendly. We played Taboo while we sipped on mimosas and waited for our food to come out. The wait wasn't bad at all considering how packed it was. I also had a pancake on the side because I needed something sweet. The pancake was fluffy and a nice size. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. I sampled the french toast with bananas on top and peanut butter between each layer. That was really good. Overall it was a very fun, exciting and enjoyable experience. $75 for 2 people with bottomless mimosas. I don't think we did too bad. I am a fan and I'm sure I'll be back at some point in the near future. I suggest you try them out as well. P.S. the person at our table that had the chicken and waffles said the chicken was very moist and tasty. I think I'll get those next time.
