California Legislature Changes State’s Tax Appeal Process and Establishes New Agencies

Effective July 1st, the Taxpayer Transparency and Fairness Act of 2017, restructured the State Board of Equalization and established two new tax agencies - the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) and the Office of Tax Appeals (OTA). IRS Sets 2018 HSA Contribution Limits

For calendar year 2018, the annual limitation on HSA deductions for an individual with self-only coverage under a high deductible health plan will increase by $50 to $3,450. For HSAs linked to family coverage, the contribution cap will increase by $150 to $6,900.
