I just checked in and had my worst Kimpton experience: 1. front desk - we are out of minibar keys. - seriously how does a hotel not have enough mini bar keys for the entire hotel? 2. "I see that you requested a room away from stairs and elevators. Your room is by the stairs.". Really? Then fix the problem and upgrade my room or don't waste my time by giving your guest a problem that they are not able to correct themselves. So far, the worst Kimpton hotel in the US and the most expensive hotel in philly.

The King Spa is beautiful. The room itself is average but the bathroom is a show stopper. The large tub has jets, seats and beautiful views through a large window overlooking the city. The front desk offers champaign upon arrival and the location is close to shopping and restaurants. The price tag is worth it for a night in what feels like a private spa. After a nights stay I feel truly rejuvenated. The staff is very nice and friendly as well.

Hands down the best hotel in the City! Staff are amazing, rooms are spotless, updated, comfortable and well equipped. Square 1682 is beyond anything you will find in a hotel lobby - exceptional food, drinks and service.

I stayed here before for my work trip to Philly. Conveniently located in the middle of downtown, it's pretty easy to go to offices and buildings. The hotel looks very elegant, including the room. I really enjoyed my stay there. The service was quite good as well. The only reason I won't be staying here again is because I'm collecting Hilton Honors points. But then again, if you have Kimpton awards, this will be a good place for you to stay!
