Here your have the slides of my presentation in the GWT Meetup about the GWT-Polymer library being developed in #vaadin .

The project  includes a ready-to-use #Paper + #Polymer library para #GWT which you only have to drop in your CLASSPATH in order to use material design components in your project.

Right now It wraps the polymer 0.5 version, but in the Vaadin Components Team we are working on providing the JsInterop wrapper for the recent polymer 1.0.0 version very soon.
New polymer ecosystem allows that sharing UI components between developers is easier. GWT-polymer makes really easy to use those components in GWT

Google Developers originally shared to I/O:

Open source of the Google I/O 2015 web app

This year, our team of developers from the Google Developers team set a goal to build the Google I/O web site (https://goo.gl/1B7fw0) as an example of modern web development. It's offline-enabled, mobile first, and uses the latest platform features like Polymer, material design, web components, service worker, push notifications, google sign-in 2.0, add to homescreen, and web animations APIs. It also works with the companion I/O Android app, allowing users to save events and see their synced Schedule across the two apps. Every detail, including UX, was new and untackled territory from a Dev perspective, leading us to create a first-of-it’s-kind mobile web app - and we couldn’t be prouder of the final result.

To showcase and inspire on how to build mobile web apps using Google’s APIs, tools and services, we’re open sourcing the I/O web app for the first time. Check out the code, file bugs, or contribute here: github.com/GoogleChrome/ioweb2015.

To learn more about how the app was built, directly from the tech lead +Eric Bidelman, watch the I/O “Polymer and modern web APIs: In production at Google scale” session video (https://goo.gl/pmkovM).
The latest version of Polymer is fast and lean. Learn how teams at Google have successfully launched sites using Polymer and the latest platform APIs: Web Animations, Service Workers for offline and push notifications, and material design. And if you're new to Polymer we'll show you how to get started building mobile-first apps. (Note: Tune into this live stream on CHANNEL 3.)

What does Aurora do? Aurora runs applications and services across a shared pool of machines, and is responsible for keeping them running, forever. When machines experience failure, Aurora intelligently reschedules those jobs onto healthy machines.
