I have a question about Hangouts On Air with YouTube Live. When I was interacting with the folks in the live chat and we want to use a channel name, do we use either +Scandinavian Today or do we use @ ScandinavianToday ? I ask because when I try either it does not highlight the way I see it is listed above. Is it because we are not spelling the channel name correctly? I just want to be sure the person receiving a hello or comment that they see it correctly showing up in chat etc.
I tried looking this up under the YouTube Help and did not see anything mentioning about it when setting up the live stream. Thank you!

Thinking about Christmas. This is one of my favorite desserts.

Danish Christmas Rice Pudding with cherry sauce or in Danish Risalamande med kirsebærsauce is one of my favorite desserts.

This delicious Christmas dessert is made out of rice porridge mixed with whipped cream, vanilla, and chopped almonds. In addition, there is one hidden whole almond in the risalamande. The person who finds the almond will get an extra gift during the Christmas celebrations. This usually helps on the number of second helpings!! It is a tradition not to reveal who has the almond until all the pudding has been eaten which is part of the fun. (Over the years, our Danish family has had a lot of laughs trying to figure out who has the almond.) The delicious and easy Christmas dessert is usually served cold with warm cherry sauce (kirsebærsauce).

Frikadeller is the Danish national dish. Frikadeller are flat, pan-fried meatballs. Delicious to eat either warm or cold.

What to eat with Danish Frikadelle? In Danish homes, Frikadelle is eaten with Danish Red Cabbage (Rødkaal), Danish Cucumber Salad (Agurksalat), potatoes (kartofler) and brown gravy (sovs). If you make enough frikadeller, it is great as a left over food for Danish Smørrebrød the next day.

It is very easy to prepare and make these homemade meatballs.

How to make an Easy, Tasty and Danish Cucumber Salad - Agurksalat

*a sprinkle of salt for squeezing out the cucumber juice
* 1 dl or 1/2 a cup of water

Dream Cake or in Danish Drømmekage has become popular in recent years. We received several requests for us to make this delicious Dream Cake.

Serve with the cake slices either coffee, tea, or milk. If you plan to celebrate, add a Danish flag as we did on the individual slices. It is traditional in Danish households to add a Danish flag on a cake when celebrating an event such as a birthday. It is a wonderful treat to have any time of the day.

So here is our version. Enjoy!

♥ Topping Ingredients ♥
•1/4 cup of whole milk
•1/2 cup salted butter, softened to room temperature
•1 cup light brown soft sugar
•1 1/4 cup of shredded coconut (sweetened or unsweetened)

♥ Cake Ingredients♥
•2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
•3 teaspoons baking powder
•1/4 cup of salted butter
•3/4 cup of whole milk (yogurt or buttermilk is optional)
•4 medium eggs
•1 1/3 cup of granulated sugar
•1 teaspoon vanilla extract
