The best thing about this restaurant is the location, in the old Pasadena train station, where Katherine Hepburn and many others first arrived in Southern California. It's an elegant old Spanish revival building with an award-winning restoration behind it. The bar has giant windows that look onto a court yard and open for summer breezes. Oh, and the food is pretty good too. Tacos and deviled eggs are classic. The make-your-own sundae is a favorite dessert.
