I recently purchased a pre hung door from Arcadia Window and Door. Despite the 300 dollar price tag, I decided I could afford to buy local and Jo offered to come and measure my entryway beforehand. Prior to removing the original frame I sized up the door to see if it would match my existing frame. It was too tall, and I figured they probably just meant for the door and frame to be replaced as a whole. The frame was too tall also and by the time I'd gotten that far they had closed. The next day about an hour after opening and approximately an hour after leaving them a message Jo was at my house to pick up the frame and re cut it. When I went to put the frame it I noted the hinged side was not going in any part of my entry way. It wasn't cut "square". Jo was however kind enough to give me a box of nails and two filler boards for the entry way. This was on Friday. I spent the remainder of the weekend home guarding my now open house until my room mates took over while I was at work. They didn't return my message so I called them again today Monday morning and was told Jo would call me back. He called and he seemed polite albeit a bit smart with his replies. He stated he would reassess the door in a couple of hours. I verified my entry way with a level as per his suggestion and confirmed my entry way was fine. This was a moot point as I'd already stated the hinged portion would not fit in any part of the entryway. During our phone conversation I inquired as to the cost of installation. He quoted me at full price despite having now mesaured the door frame incorrectly twice. Hours passed and I got no call. I called him at approximately 3:30pm and left him a voicemail on his work cellphone. I let him know that I work the night shift and that I'd now been up the majority of the day waiting for him. I got no response.

My roommate paid 300 dollars for a door that now has me as a tenant on a rotating guard due to the fact that it was measured incorrectly twice and now Jo won't return his calls.

After ordering my closest doors I was told it would take 2-3 weeks for their arrival, on week 4 I was told I will have to wait an additonal 3 weeks. I can not get Joe to answer my calls and when I am lucky enough to get him to converse with me he is rude and defensive. I will never recommend or use Arcadia Window & Door because of how poor the customer service is.
