Geometric Properties of Masonic Symbols - Sacred Geometry

The synchronicity of the universe is determined by certain mathematical constants which express themselves in the form of 'patterns' and 'cycles' in nature. Mathematical and geometric constants are confirmation that certain proportions are woven into the very fabric of nature. Recognising the significance of this simple fact offers us the means to understand how and why such matters were considered sacred. They and everything around us, are the product of the delicate balance between chaos and order.

A collection of research papers by Bro. William Steve Burkle KT, 32°, Scioto Lodge No. 6, Chillicothe, G.L. of F.&A.M. of Ohio.

THE PERFECT POINTS OF ENTRANCE

The Author has often wondered at parts of our ritual which have no ready explanation, nor any forthcoming, and which are routinely committed to memory and recited when called upon to do so. One such is "The Perfect Points of Entrance" that demonstrate proof of being a Freemason.  So he decided to explore how and when this was included in the ritual.

A paper by Bro. Prof. Dr. U. Gauthamadas Grand Lodge of India.

Freemasons in China: the Portuguese link

This paper advances a new light on the arrival of Freemasonry to China. Normally that event is explained by the arrival of the British to the Chinese East Coast and by the outcome of the two Opium Wars. The author explores an alternative path of the Masonic entrance in China by looking to Macau and to the documented arrival of a ship of the Swedish Company of Eastern India Islands transporting Freemasons with a charter, given by the Grand Royal Lodge of Sweden to held Masonic meetings in any port they board.
A paper by W Bro A.M.A. Gonçalves 30°, Luz do Oriente #80 Lodge, Grand Legal Lodge of Portugal.

A new Masonic museum opened in Florence, Italy

The Museum of Masonic Symbols

The Collection on display comes from the passion and love of a Brother to the ritual objects and symbols etched, embroidered, applied, printed or engraved on these items. The Collection begun and continued for three/four generations of Masonic membership and is now presented and offered in Florence, where in 1731 was founded the First Italian Masonic Lodge, known as: “The Lodge of the English-people”. http://bit.ly/NV0m45
