Even in our darker days, there are always people who find the silver lining and opportunities. There will be winners in the next four years: http://bit.ly/2jBiitu . I predict among them will be Dicks by Mail, the rubber sheet industry, and people participating in political activism.

If you think you have created a new invention that you want to protect, do a patent search to make sure it's worth it to file a patent.

(Somebody else may have invented it first.)

I had a good time at the open photoshoot last week at Parkwood Photography Studios. As a lawyer/model, I know what I'm getting into when I step under the lights. Here's what I'd do to help make sure everyone else knows their rights and dos/don'ts: http://bit.ly/2jq7daH
Last week, I went to an open photoshoot/happy hour at Parkwood Studios. (They have a gorgeous space!) It’s a free monthly event for photographers and models of all skill levels and experience. Ther…

Thinking about getting a patent? Make sure the investment is worth it - they only last 20 years: http://bit.ly/2j4mfmb.

And then there's Elon Musk who opened Tesla's patents for anyone to use to build on their innovations . . .

Brand X does amazing work. There's never been a design I've brought in that they couldn't bring to life. The quality of their base shirts is awesome. They are my go-to shop for plain shirts and printed shirts. The staff is top-notch in terms of customer service, quality products, professionalism, and creativity.

Capitol Collision did an awesome job on my car. They helped coordinate repairs with the insurance company, my rental car, and walked me through the whole process. I was in a little fender bender so they were able to fix my car and repaint my bumper in one day. They also cleaned the entire interior of my car - I swear it looks better today than the day I bought it. I also love that Capitol is family/locally owned so I know my money is going right back into my community.
