Question of the Day: Is it illegal to post flyers about a contractor that stole from me? http://bit.ly/1TKGJiV

The big issue in this situation is whether the person in question actually committed the crime and whether you can prove it. If this person has not been convicted or has not admitted their wrongdoing, posting a flyer may lead to you being accused of defamation or harassment.

The law doesn’t care what you believe or know.
The law only cares about what you can prove.

I was asked to write a step-by-step post on how to respond when you discover someone's using your photo w/o permission & you just want them to stop. Here's what I would do: http://bit.ly/1NZ0eUb.
What should you do if you discover that someone is using a photo you took without your permission? As the person who took the photo, you are likely the copyright owner, which gives you the right to…

The Cautionary Tale of the FTC & the Paisley Dress: http://bit.ly/22nvLC1.

Always always always disclose the relationship between a company and an influencer - unless you want to risk paying a $11K fine.
If you want a story of what not to do when it comes to working with influencers and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), look to Lord & Taylor. To promote their new clothing line collection, Des…

Everyone needs an estate plan, and it should include instructions regarding your digital afterlife: http://bit.ly/1Nvws9N.

Question of the Day: How do your leave your LLC to your family?

Your estate plan should clearly state who gets your LLC (or your ownership interest in your LLC) after you pass away. This should mirror the information in your operating agreement. http://bit.ly/1OhujOR

Question of the Day: Can your Employer take Screenshot of your Social Media Posts?https://youtu.be/q6dPsROf3kM There's no expectation of privacy in anything you post online (regardless of privacy settings), so reat every post like it's public information that's going to end up on a billboard or the front page of a newspaper.

Brand X does amazing work. There's never been a design I've brought in that they couldn't bring to life. The quality of their base shirts is awesome. They are my go-to shop for plain shirts and printed shirts. The staff is top-notch in terms of customer service, quality products, professionalism, and creativity.

Capitol Collision did an awesome job on my car. They helped coordinate repairs with the insurance company, my rental car, and walked me through the whole process. I was in a little fender bender so they were able to fix my car and repaint my bumper in one day. They also cleaned the entire interior of my car - I swear it looks better today than the day I bought it. I also love that Capitol is family/locally owned so I know my money is going right back into my community.
