My honest review of NFS No limits for android/IOS
To sum it up in one word: Disappointing.
Knowing fire monkeys had a hand in this makes it more so sad. And to those who don't fire monkeys studio are responsible for Real Racing 3 on of the better racing games available for mobile devices.
There was actual stuttering during transition from menus and selection screens. Your probably going to assume my device is slow I assure you it's not. My device has a ARM Cortex A7 octa core CPU, A Mali 450 GPU, and 2 GB of ram. Enough to run Asphalt 8 on high, real racing 3 on high, and a number of other games on max settings. Yet this game just chugs on like it's getting stuck. Considering that the other NFS games run masterfully this is sad and odd.
Gameplay and graphics:
The graphic in this game are sub par in comparison to fire monkeys studios other work. For a studio with a moderate budget, experience with racing gameplay mechanics, and access to their previous titles source materials this is a sad display of workmanship. If you don't believe me go play real racing 2 then play 3 and see the complete absurdity of how well they improved along with how well they can do.
Gameplay wise sure there is customization it Need For Speed a very iconic game that did things no other franchise tried. But that's it; it stop art Need For Speed. None of those amazing mechanics exist here. Only copout linear advancement, a fuel gauge limiting how much you can play which is completely unattractive, and freemium content (that's the norm but who wants to buy anything in this game). Actual driving in game is slow and uninteresting the sense of speed your looking for is not here look elsewhere.
I suggest asphalt 8, Real Racing 3, or NFS most wanted Being complete honest as it is now this isn't good. This game simply is uninteresting to play.
Not to sound rude but taking Real Racing 3, adding NFS elements to it, adding in the customization, and changing the driving mechanics so gripping or drift would be possible would have made a far better game.
