I'm very fortunate to be a member of the Family Law Partners team. One of the challenges for a highly specialised niche practice that wishes to grow is identifying  potential team members of a similar calibre.   They need to seamlessly fit into an existing team that promotes non-adversarial solutions for families experiencing separation, divorce, and financial uncertainty.  So, when someone like Sarah Jelly comes along to add her experience to the team we can't help feeling delighted that our clients are going to benefit from her considerable skills.  Welcome to the team, Sarah.

I've wanted to post about family law arbitration for a while.  Fortunately, for the price of a Tunnocks caramel wafer and a cup of tea, I've commissioned +Robert Williams to provide a guest post on my Divorce Finance Toolkit blog.

Yeah, my little child maintenance project.  What a time bandit...

I hope to get there in the end, with a little help from my Wordpress guru +David Lockie - counting on you Dave, no pressure, mate.

Some of my old posts on my divorce blog have a life of their own: attracting regular comments from people desperate for information they can rely upon. The link below surprised me with how many comments it has attracted over time.

I've been quiet of late on the blog front because of the demands of the day job but quite busy on a little project involving child maintenance which I hope will help a lot of people once it's up and running.

Stay tuned for more info.

I'm using Gravity Forms alongside the GF PDF Extended plug in. Great software (I'm not a developer but have enjoyed pushing my limited skill set on a few projects). My question is how do I get an HTML field in GF to appear in the form submission itself? Is it possible?

Hope I understand the answer anyone cares to to give. Many thanks.

The figure that stands out for me in this report is that 24% of the respondent lawyers thought the biggest change to their roles in the next 10 years would be dealing with litigants in person.  No doubt because of the withdrawal of legal aid. I honestly wonder how the (soon to be unified) family court is going to deal with the number of unrepresented parties before it.

So, I'm sitting there, stroking the cat when it occurs to me: why not reduce VAT on lawyers' bills for clients using mediation or collaboration models.  What's not to like?  Hop on over to my blog to find out more...
