Autism prevalence among US children has climbed because of a simple change in how the interviewers asked the question.

Yes. The change in the question and the order of the questions has led to the 1 in 45 number, which is a more accurate prevalence based on its triangulation with other surveys and the Korean study. That's what the article, which I wrote, says. It's a lot higher than the previous survey found because the change in the question order and phrasing elicited more accurate answers.

Burton held at least 20 congressional hearings on our dime to try to force his beliefs on the country. What—or who—was behind those beliefs?

It's common to talk about how hard it is to prove a negative. With vaccines and autism, we've come damned close.
