I was a little nervous about sending my eldest on to her first school experience, but the Aurora Montessori School did everything necessary to make both me and my daughter feel comfortable. I feel very positively about the Montessori method and how it is delivered in this school. The staff are obviously committed to the kids and they work hard to create a warm, safe, and educational environment. I also appreciate the quality and variety of afterschool activities the school offers which includes ballet, martial arts, Bollywood dance, chess club, and Spanish. I am so pleased with this school, I wish they went through elementary, middle, and high school!

This school is Superior! Warm and friendly. From the very first visit, when I walked in and saw room after room of very young children engaged in their work and working quietly, respecting their environment and each other, I knew that this is where my daughter needed to be (and I went to every preschool out there). The care and respect given to each child is apparent and the care and respect given to parents is refreshing! When will they offer grades 1-5???

This is an extremely high quality preschool! I had the pleasure of providing inservice and consultation to their teachers, and observing all of their classrooms over the course of the week. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area that is looking for an academic preschool that allows children to learn and be challenged at their own pace. The Montessori setting offers unique opportunities for children to work cooperatively, learn from and teach their peers, develop independence and functional living skills, etc. The environment was warm, structured, and developmentally nurturing in so many ways. The teachers really know each of the children's unique personalities and learning styles. I was extremely impressed by the children's abilities that are a clear result of this amazing environment!

I am parent of a kindergarten student here. This school rocks both in terms of education and teaching great values & discipline to kids. Principal and staff are awesome and are always there to answer any questions/concerns parents have. They also have many classes like Ballet, hip-hop, Soccer, Chess and Piano that working parents may choose to pay extra for.

I cannot say enough good things about Aurora Montessori School. All of the staff members have a true passion and dedication for working with children and it shows. The understanding, responsibility, and caring that is naturally instilled in the children is one of the first things you notice as you walk around the classrooms. The friendly and warm atmosphere of the school creates a very inviting space for any child to be a part of!

I was six minutes late in picking up my son and they charged me a fine. This was on a day when there was 8" of snow in one afternoon and traffic was all but stopped. They are picky about the 'uniform' only khakis and navys allowed. In the winter all it takes is 2 inches of snow and they are closed. In the past one month they've had 3.5 snow days, but they charge the full monthly tuition. The facility is neat and the staff are friendly but I can see in every interaction that they exist only to make money. There is no sense of service that is essential for any educational institution.
