Apparantly #Vornheim is back in print. Here's my original review for this ground-breaking RPG product, complete with timely Mitt Romney jokes!

I was leaning pretty heavily towards this one but the Fury of Dracula reprint is redirecting my interest.

Gladiator is the equivalent of Ridley Scott desperately yelling "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!?" in your face for three hours.

Mad Max: Fury Road is the most viciously original sci-fi action flick since, well... The Road Warrior.   #madmaxfuryroad #moviereview

Here's what I said about the CGI in the film: "Either the CGI has been kept to a bare minimum or it's so good that it dove-tails perfectly with all of the practical stuff. Either way, it's a win-win all around. As far as I can tell, the vehicle combats were lensed using the same techniques used for all the previous Mad Max movies. That is to say Miller put a real caravan of cobbled-together vehicles out on a salt bed somewhere and then instructed his actors to try and creatively murder one another."   As for the story it was no weaker than "Max finds a refinery, turns in a wounded scout for a reward, nearly gets killed on his own, comes back, drives the tanker, twist ending".  As for his lack of dialogue, Max has always been a classic laconic anti-hero without much to say. He's certainly no chatty Cathy in The Road Warrior. But, hey, to your point, different strokes and all that.

Compared to the bloated, top-heavy Age of Ultron, Ant-Man is both smaller and mightier.

Not so much a review of the movie, as you say, but a reflection on its impact on your life choices.  I can dig that.  You're giving it a try.  Good on ya, mate.

I was missing the part where you describe the impact of the final revelation on your view of human nature.  You didn't seem to address the central plot point and, instead, dealt with its condemnation of materialist impulses.

I'd ask you if Marla Singer ever thought Tyler Durden existed but I'm not sure if that part was important to you.  I'm not knocking your take on the film's value system, just wondering what you thought was the most significant plot point.
