Our friend and former employee is amongst tech titans.
The Ruins of Past

We are officially in our new digs at the old Facebook HQ circa 2011. This is all that is left of the former:

This is definitely a game changer.
Tech is still changing the rules

There is another game changer that is about to come onto the wearables scene after being in stealth mode for the past 3 years.  Spritz is changing the speed in which we ingest words in the digital world.

Whether it is how we read, view, appreciate, or create technology is changing how we interact with the world.

We are really excited to be among products and companies that are creating a pivotal time in history.

Our absolute favorite classic cocktail. The balance and complexity of this drink make you forget just how simple it is. We agree with everything being said except the rocks part.
Drink of the week: Negroni
1 oz Gin
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
1 oz Campari

This is a simple drink; stir and serve straight up.

I introduced the original martini last week as a lead-in to the negroni. I like to imagine that when the "martini" was being stolen by those who simply preferred chilled gin, the true fans took shelter under the negroni. The flavor is similar to my martini's recipe, though the orange notes are obviously different and stronger. I think the negroni can have a bit drier a mouthfeel.

My favorite thing about the negroni is its consistency. People don't put flair in the negroni, they just make it. I was in Las Vegas for a week recently and found that the negroni is so simple, the free drink bar tenders (who had recently set a new low for manhattans) had little opportunity for error. Sure they served it on ice, but a free negroni is free and still pretty darn tasty.

We are trying to spread the word one martini at a time. Tito's has not only become a staple here, it has become a catalyst for a lot of our clientele to venture out of their vodka comfort zone and come to the realization that sometimes American-made is best.

It may not be on the menu, but we would be more than happy to make you one. We relish any chance we get to use Punt E Mes in a cocktail. A simple yet great twist on one of our favorite drinks, The Manhatten.

If you have never heard the story behind how St-Germain is made each year, take a second to read the fantastical yarn provided. We are a huge proponent of the elderflower liqueur here, so we are indifferent to its dubious history. If you have never had this French floral fluid, please ask any of our bartenders to make a soothing cocktail to ease you into its complex taste or have just on the rocks. Either way you will be glad you flirted with the outside of the box.
