Share it With YouTube!

Have you ever wanted to become a star? Do you want all eyes on you while receiving millions of likes? Well here is your chance, share your video with YouTube.

YouTube is a website where you can upload a video of (someone or something) and share it with the public, private group and/or the media. If  you choose, you can  upload a private video that only certain viewers can see.

Here’s how you upload a video onto YouTube:

To get started uploading videos on YouTube from your desktop, follow these steps. Click the Upload button at the top of the page. Before you start uploading the video you can chose the video privacy settings. Select the video you'd like to upload from your computer.

It is just that simple! Now get started making that video and upload it for the world to see. But before you do, make sure you are uploading a video that is not too provocative. YouTube can lawfully ban your video from the site if it considered too provocative.

YouTube is also helpful for people that just simply want to learn how to do something. If you want to learn how to learn how to braid hair, cook something, figure out how work a product on the computer or even how to solve a complex math problem. YouTube has it all! Just type what you are looking for into the search engine and click on the video that best suits your needs. You are not required to like the video or subscribe it after watching the video, but the person who created the video would like if you did so that it could expand their brand.

So have fun exploring new things on YouTube and expand your brand!

Do You Have A Passion To Burn?

If you have a burning passion for maintaining your paper documents, why not you’re your valued documents to a CD? There are 101 things that can happen to those important documents and treasured photos and videos.  You can have an extra added
insurance by copying those documents, photos and videos to a writable disk.
If your computer includes a CD or DVD recorder, you can copy files to a writeable disc. This process is called burning a disc. By default, Windows burns discs in the Live File System format, but you can also choose to burn discs in the Mastered format.

For Live File System Format:
1. Insert a writeable CD or DVD into your computer's CD or DVD recorder.
2. In the dialog box that appears, click Burn files to data disc.
3. In the Burn a Disc dialog box, type a name for this disc, and then click Next.
It might take several minutes for the disc to be formatted in the default Live File System format. When the formatting is complete, an empty disc folder opens.
4. Open the folder that contains the files you want to burn, and then drag the files into the empty disc folder.

For Mastered Format:
5. Insert a writeable CD or DVD into your computer's CD or DVD recorder.
6. In the dialog box that appears, click Burn files to data disc.
7. In the Burn a Disc dialog box, type a name for this disc, and then click Show formatting options.
8. Click Mastered, and then click Next.
9. An empty disc folder opens.
10. Open the folder that contains the files you want to burn, and then drag the files into the empty disc folder.
11. On the toolbar, click Burn to disc.
12. For Live File System and Mastered format use the following discs:
Disc: CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-R DL, DVD+R, DVD+R DL, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, or DVD-RAM

System Format and Mastered Format options are both reputable and safe. They work quickly and are inexpensive, some are even free!  It is always good to do your homework on a product.  Keeping our important documents and photo treasures safe and secure will always be an advantage.

Apple Vs Android

For quite some time now there has been an ongoing debate about which company is better: Android or Apple. Both companies are fast-paced growing companies that are very successful across the globe.

Apple provides a completely catered, top-down experience in which it dictates exactly which apps you can run and which features your phone can have. Android takes off the training wheels and lets consumers have a variety of hardware and software to choose from, along with access to key technologies.

The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are priced like high-end phones, but that doesn't stop Apple from skimping on storage. For starting prices of $648 and $744 respectively, you get just 16GB of internal memory. After you deduct 1.3GB for iOS 9, you have almost no space for the pictures you'll take, the videos you will record, your music collection or iTunes movies, which can take up a considerable amount of space depending on resolution. Some popular games can also utilize a lot of space. If you really want to make the most of your iPhone, you need to add another $100 to the price to get 64GB of storage.

All of the latest high-end Android phones, including all the major Samsung phones start with a more-reasonable 32GB of internal storage. Better still, HTC and LG's flagships come with SD slots that will allow you to add more capacity by using a memory card.

The iPhone consistently produces pleasing photos with accurate color - generation after generation.

Despite all the promises by Android phone makers to streamline their look and phone and navigation, the iPhone remains the easiest phone to use by far. There's no separate app drawer for your apps and no annoying overlay to get in the way. Some may consider the lack of change in the look and feel of the iPhone over the years. The
iPhone  works pretty much the same way it did way back in 2007: you pick it up, turn it on, touch the app to open.

Depending on the type of person you are, the right phone will fit you, be it Android or Apple. Just remember to do your research before buying a device. It is always important to stay updated on today’s technology and do your homework.

Enjoy yourself with the Selfie Stick!

Photographs have advanced rapidly throughout the years. First, there were black and white photographs which developed into color photographs. Today, technology has advanced so much that you can not only take pictures in color, but you can edit the photo to be whatever color or background you want it to be! But what about the way you take the photograph? When taking a picture, most people want the picture to be perfect. That is very difficult when some cameras only allow you to take a picture from one angle.
Well, I have news for you, your days of taking imperfect pictures are over. Taking a selfie will make taking beautiful pictures a much easier task. A selfie is a photograph that is taken when the camera is faced towards your front profile. On the device in which you are taking the selfie, you have the option to flip the camera so that it faces your face and others in the background. In other words, the whole gang can take a picture at once and you can take the picture and be in the picture.  Taking a selfie is so much easier and safer then asking someone off the street to take pictures of you and your friends. But what if you are a short person and your arm can’t extend long enough to get everyone in the picture? You can purchase a selfie stick. A selfie stick is a monopod used to take selfie photographs by positioning a smartphone or camera beyond the normal range of the arm. You can find them in many stores for a reasonable price. So if you and your friends decide to take that fabulous picture!

Don’t Stress, Just Make an App!

Every day we have to think or remember to do something. Some people write themselves a sticky note and place it in some obvious place where they will readily see it; others write everything down. Sticky notes will start to clutter your life and eventually the streams of paper will get annoying. Do you really feel like going through that hassle tracking the sticky note trail? I didn’t think so. Besides, that is so yesterday. Why don’t you get soft ware that can hold all of you information and organize it to make life easier? Oh – And I did I mention free software?
This software is a called an app. A self-contained program or piece of software designed to fulfill a particular purpose; an application, especially as downloaded by a user to a mobile device. Apps are everywhere! But you have to have a phone that can download apps.  You can easily down a free app that has the ability to simplify your life.
The downside is that you may run into minor issues every now and again about the apps causing your phone to freeze or slowly move. All you have to do is talk to customer service and tell them your concerns. Usually mobile devices began to perform poorly when you have too many apps stored on them. You can download as many apps as you want, but do not get carried away.
Apps can sometimes be addicting because of all the fun and great things that it contains. There are apps for everything; fashion, calorie count, fitness, educational, religious, bank information, urgent reminders, and therapy. You name it - there is an app for it.
So don’t stress yourself out, just get the app. Technology is too advanced to make the hard work laborious. Enjoy life!

Shoo Hackers - Don’t Bother Me!

Social Media is the fastest form of communication in the world. Everyone who is anyone is using social media. It can be used to contact a friend, dating, joining groups and organizations, raising awareness, protesting, posting pictures and the list goes on and on. Sounds great right? Social Media has been a life saver for some people. There have been inspirational stories about missing children or spouses being found. For others, social media may just be a way they can become their own little celebrity. Posting pictures and receiving lots of attention from friends and others can make you feel like a superstar.

In all of this, there are those that enjoy corrupting our computers and surfing ventures. These people are called Computer Hackers. They appear to be highly educated about computer systems and they use their talent and skills for tomfoolery. Computer Hackers know how to create fake profiles on social media websites. Hackers prey on computer access for their own personal gain. Some hackers enjoy writing rude messages to people on their friend’s list just to make the other person upset and ruin their day. Other scammers use deception to steal your money. Be aware, some computer hackers are sex predators. Either way it goes, computer hackers are shady people and they should exposed.

There are many ways to protect yourself from computer hackers. Protect your page on whatever social media website you are associated with. Do not put your personal information on the site. It would be wise to not post provocative pictures of yourself that would attract sexual predators. And if you receive a rude and distasteful message from someone who you do not know, report them and then block them from your friend’s list so they are unable to contact you ever again. And never, ever, ever send money because your “friend” is trapped out of the country and needs money to get back home or send money because you have won some international lottery. Social media should be a fun experience, please protect yourself. If it sounds shady – assume that it is. If it sounds too good to be true – assume that it is. When on the internet, think defense, defense, defense.
