Day 3: #100HAPPYDAYS

Morning tea, smoke (yeah, I know it's bad for me) and tablet (either reading, checking mail, or fb). This is a calm, and quiet moment in the day. When I first get up, there's chores to be done before I can sit down for a few minutes and relax. For those that know me - I AM NOT A MORNING PERSON! I quietly get up and feed the pooches, open all the curtains, and do my morning routine. I don't especially want to be spoken to during this time, or for pretty near an hour after I get up, lol! However, Paul bought me this mug for Valentines Day, in fact he bought me two. One for me to use, and one for my poodle paraphernalia collection, you have to love a man who knows you that well! So drinking from this particular mug, makes me smile every time, and reminds me that I am loved, and that he "gets" me. Makes mornings more bearable!

Day 2: #100HAPPYDAYS

Meet Breezy, she's a 13 year young standard poodle that I groom. I have to admit she makes me happy because she looks completely different before and after her groom. I get to scissor inches and inches of coat. I like scissoring, lol! I also enjoy visiting with her owner who stays for the groom, we chat and enjoy each others company. And lastly, I was also happy to earn some extra money, . I promise it won't be poodles everyday, lol!

Day 1: Snowy poodles playing ball makes me happy, :-). I could definitely take a lesson on enjoying the simple pleasures from my dogs! I had a lot of fun shooting out in the snow, playing ball with the pooches. #100HAPPYDAYS

I've recently gone through some of the saddest months of my life, and I think this will help me to find some "happy" each day. Photography for me started because there were so many things in life that I found beauty in, particularly animals, nature and most especially the people I love. I am a sentimental person, and taking pictures of all those special moments in life always made me happy, and looking back at them easily evoked the feelings of the moment. Sadly, sometime over the last year, I stopped appreciating those moments. I let sadness, regret, anger and bitterness into my life instead. Until I lost my Dad, I wasn't aware of how withdrawn I was becoming. I'm going to use this to get me back, to wake up and begin to appreciate the world around me again. I want to live in the moment, to appreciate what I do have in my life. I don't want to look back or dwell on what I don't have, or on what I have lost. Thank you Becka Yates for posting the original link to this, I'm with you girl!

Anyone else think they can meet the challenge of finding one small moment each day for 100 days, and share that moment with us by documenting it with a photo? #100HAPPYDAYS

My thought for today, I've been struggling with this lately :-)
One of the most painful things in life is losing yourself in the process of loving others too much, and forgetting that you are special too.  When was the last time someone told you that they loved you just the way you are, and that what you think and how you feel matters?  When was the last time someone told you that you did a good job, or took you someplace, simply because they know you feel happy when you’re there?  When was the last time that ‘someone’ was YOU? - via: http://www.marcandangel.com/2012/01/29/20-things-to-start-doing-in-your-relationships/
