I could understand a thought indicating that, since non-Christians do not accept the Bible as fact, we shouldn't use it as our foundation. The problem, though, is that no matter what we use as the foundation of our knowledge of God, the world shall not accept it, because the world does not accept the notion of God. No matter what we choose, we shall not convince by intellectual debate and lists of facts. That doesn't make either of those foolish, though.

Indeed, we must stand on one of two bridges between God and man that both sides can plainly see. One of them is the Bible. The other is a life changed by God.
A true defense of the Christian faith has never been more needed than now, but an attempt to rescue Christianity from its dependence upon Scripture is doomed to disaster.

Yes, Christian values are under attack, and it's about time! We've got too many "evangelicals" and "fundamentalists" and whatever other label you wish to pick, and few who have been fully tested in Christ. How many of us would bail on our faith if we experienced the slightest fraction of what Middle Eastern Christians are facing at this very moment, let alone the trials of Job? I assume I'd cave in, and I know many others would.
Most white working-class and evangelical Christian voters would consider voting for Donald Trump, according to a new poll.

Switch to mobile friendly version Who Are You to Judge? by Brett Kunkle Drinking. Premarital sex. Abortion. Homosexuality. Same-sex marriage. Christians have so many hang-ups with the behavior of non-Christians, don’t they? It all seems so judgmental. Christians have enough problems of their own, so why worry about others? Even Jesus warned against this. “Do not judge so that you will not be judged” (Matthew 7:1). Who are Christians to judge othe...

My wife had just finished a procedure at nearby Moffitt Cancer Center when our battery failed to start our Dodge Grand Caravan. After a jump start we had to decide where to take it. Having had good experience with a Goodyear shop in our home town of Melbourne (on the opposite side of Florida), and after reading the reviews here, we chose McGee; it was also convenient to get to from our hotel. They checked out everything and determined it was just the battery, not the cables or anything else. I also asked them to do an oil change. They told me the water pump was beginning to seep, but that it should get us back home, which it did. Everyone there was pleasant on that early Saturday morning, and the job was done quickly. I'm very thankful for McGee.

The staff was very pleasant, and the rooms were clean. I wasn't a big fan of the bed pillows, which looked like a mixture of double-bed and throw pillows; on a king-size bed, it made for poor support. The room we were in was also quite narrow, with the desk and a roll-away table underneath it right next to the bed. We were staying there while my wife was undergoing tests at Moffitt Cancer Center, so the extra stress involved wasn't pleasant.

Great staff and service. Brittany, Raven, and all the others made us feel right at home while we were over there for tests at Moffitt. The one problem we had was that I suspect one of their items didn't agree with me at all, but the manager didn't seem too concerned.
