I often ask myself, “where did I begin my relationship with food and why did it lead to binge eating?” While driving one day, I was listening to my 9 year old son Paul and his 10 year old friend Nate talk about a group of High School Cross Country runners that were huddled at the street corner waiting for the light to change to continue their run.  This familiar group of boys ages 13-19 has always caused a lot of ruckus in our car. They always run without their shirts and thus have been lovingly termed “the shirtless guys.” 

Deep Breathing helps with your psychological and physical attitude and can help reduce stress.

I love and accept myself unconditionally.

Look for foods that contain complex carbohydrates and combine them with protein-rich snacks like peanut butter, low-fat yogurt or cheese.

Treat yourself to a healthy snack. In fact, if you have a hectic schedule, it's important to eat healthy foods that keep you fueled. #health

When we sleep, we are breathing in and exhaling air from deep in our lungs. Breathing is the easiest way to go into relaxation mode. #health

Come up with 7-10 different food choices to have as easy meals and snacks for each time of the day. Have easy choices on hand! #health

Adopt the attitude of "I will just never ever ever ever quit." #health #success 

The correct way to breathe to start from your abdomen or diaphragm. You can reduce muscle tension and anxiety by diaphragmatic breathing.

If you eat out regularly, pick 5 restaurants and come up with 5 meals and 2-3 snack or dessert choices that work for you. #healthy
