This NSA spoof site is both funny and chillingly accurate. Wish I had made it: http://nsa.gov1.info/

Do you want the TERRORISTS to win?!? We're spying on ourselves, so it's A-okay. Or something.

An excellent look at the NSA metadata collection cost-benefit ratio:

"It certainly appears, then, that any benefit of the 215 metadata program is very limited and is considerably outweighed by its cost
even assuming that the unknown, and perhaps unknowable, cost figure is quite small. That is, the program would very likely fail a full cost-benefit analysis handily even only minimally taking into consideration privacy and civil liberties concerns. "

It is quite amazing that businesses are trying to use yet another tactic to cover their lack of investment in infrastructure and to continue posting  profits to appeal to their stock holders. He makes a point how usage pricing by cell services are "acclimating" people to that pricing model. I've been wanting Metro PCS and other "flat price for everything" providers to increase their reliability and coverage so I can dump any company that can't bill a flat fee to connect to basic services.

While the Oak Grove doctors are fine, their billing process is not. I made sure at the time of my visit that all procedures were covered by my insurance. A month later, I received a bill by mail for that visit. Calling the only number on that bill was a classic exercise in customer no-service frustration. I had to call the office directly to get it handled, and am still not sure it has been. Rating their doctors is a 4 or 5. Rating their billing is a 1 or 0.
