Working on a new site for a client, and building custom map pins to show off all the events they are hosting. Found some cool flat icons to use in the creation. Thanks RoundIcons.com !

Reworked the items so it's a little clearer. Have any questions? I am happy to answer!

Built my own, and recorded it so you can too! Saved a lot of money with 20 minutes of work.

Drivers needing to rent a car in the Dallas area, avoid Advantage like the plague. Let me just share a story about rude personnel who refuse to listen, or politely help. And then overcharge ($168) for additional driver, when there wasn't one.

In fact, I asked the lady at the TIME of the rental about needing to put it into my credit card to avoid possible additional charges (it was to be paid for on my Mom's credit card). She stated clearly, "No ma'am. I can charge her card even tho you are the driver". I ask her would this cause an additional charge? "No ma'am"

Only when I got to the check in, and they tallied the bill... total for the 2 week period was $755.30, despite declining ALL the extras. I guess I should say the rental reservation stated it would be $488 with all the taxes and fees.

So, how does a company get away with charging a client $267.30 MORE than the agreed upon price, rudely refuse to even listen to a request for additional info, attempt to get help or any other HUMAN compassion during a customer service call. This man flatly stated there wasn't anything he could do for me, and then he simply hung up.
I am so mad, I could literally chew nails.

Once again, unless you have NO OTHER CHOICE, avoid renting a car from Advantage at DFW.

They will bait and switch you, tack on hundreds more in additional fees (like the mysterious $86.80 "Customer Facility Charge" or the $55.46 "Concession Fee"), or $168.00 "Additional Driver fee", despite there being no additional drivers.

What the hell is wrong with people?
