This Google+ redesign is quite nice.

Hmm. Works from Management Studio, but not from the ASP.NET app...

"A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)"

London Waterloo. Nice shot.
The People Mover

This is London, right? I'm embarrassed to say I can't quite remember. I processed and edited this photo as part of a bigger trip. I'm too lazy to check the EXIF and cross-reference the dates... even though that would have taken less time than writing this sentence. But, instead, I'm saying it like this to let you know that sometimes my memory fades a bit. Some spots I remember perfect perfect perfect perfect... and others fade away and drift into others. I'm not sure why memory works like this... why there are some things that are perfect and some that are fuzzy. The way that memory works in this incomplete way is interesting to me.

Both my Logitech mouse and trackball are currently plagued with single clicks randomly being counted as double clicks, causing all sorts of annoying problems. Every single damned Logitech pointing device I've owned has ended up with this problem.

Microsoft's acquisition of Skype formally complete. Does this mean it's destined to eventually become part of the Windows Live brand and even more of a bloated mess than it is already? http://blogs.skype.com/en/2011/10/acquisitionclose.html

I'm surprised by companies that plaster their website URL all over the front of their retail space (facing a busy road)... and the website points to the holding page of their cheapo web hosting company.
