My husband and ate here on Saturday night (May 9th). He had made reservations for 8:00 so we weren't just a drop in. The place was busy but we were seated right away. Our server told us that the kitchen was backed up so recommended we order our food as soon as possible. However, he failed to mention that there were customers that had been there for 2 HOURS and still had not received any food or that the food brought to their table was not what they had ordered. Understandably, customers were getting pretty upset and started voicing their frustration to the wait staff. That is when bad turned worse! A female customer was calmly complaining to her server about her experience and he began yelling at her in a condescending manner. He was looming over her in a very threatening manner. Another customer got up and yelled at the server for talking to a customer that way and he was trying to make excuses on why he felt she deserved it. No matter what the customer said, his reaction was completely UNCALLED FOR! We complained to the owner about the behavior of her staff and requested our check (we were 1 1/2 hours in and still had only gotten our drinks). She gave us a sob story about her husband (the Chef) being the only one in the kitchen that night and asked us to stay. We gave her the benefit of the doubt and did just that. I wish we hadn't. We were given a wrong order (we didn't complain, we just ate it due to plans we had later than night) and one of our dishes never showed up. What we did get was decent but nothing to rave about. A lot of it was very bland and was not worth what we paid for it. In addition, we later learned that the server who yelled at the customer in the restaurant FOLLOWED HER OUT TO HER CAR AND CONTINUED YELLING AT HER, after she removed herself from the situation. When we previously spoke to the manager she assured us that the waiter would no longer be working at her establishment. However, she did not know that one of our friends used to work for her and that he is still in contact with her and some of her employees....turns out the waiter that INTIMIDATED a customer is still employed. Due to the food just being decent, the waiter's actions and the owner's failure to put her customers first, we will NEVER go back and will tell all of our family and friends of this horrible experience.

My husband and I had lunch for the first time at Bistro B's yesterday. Our server was Todd and he gave us excellent recommendations. His descriptions sounded more like poetry than menu options. We noticed right away that there were no salt and pepper shakers on any table. We laughed and said, "they must think their food is seasoned to perfection". Well, they were right. Everything we ate was delicious as served. We started with a 3 cheese selection that also came with fresh fig puree, honey, grapes, olives and marinated garlic cloves, that were delectable. My husband got a seafood dish with the freshest fish stock we've ever tasted. Ironically, it wasn't fishy at all, hint save some of the bread to dip. The dish had sweet scallops, mussels, calamari and shrimp. I got the shaved lamb gyro. This was not your average lamb/beef pressed meat. This was wonderfully seasoned and tender lamb with feta and caramelized onions with a side of pomme frites. We ate every bite and ordered the crème brulee with coffee and cappuccino. I recommend this dining experience to anyone that is not afraid to try something different. We love Kernersville, but while you dine here, you will forget you are in a small town. This is a lovely spot that should not be missed!

This is a great restaurant. One of few in this area that can compete with best in major urban centers. A truly unique menu, with interesting dishes of Spanish and Mediterranian flavors. Many are tapa-sized, and tapa-priced, so you can try 2 or 3; that's the whole idea. It's for diners with an adventuresome palate. Excellent wines, excellent service, and in the heart of charming K-ville to boot.

Every time when we go out to eat to this place we get great service and excellent food. Last time we had clams and my husband had stake, and was absolutely delicious. Yes, may be you don't get too big portion, but it is really enough considering pretty cheap price for the quality of food you get. The chef came out and asked our opinion about service and food, he was very pleasant. I would recommend this place to someone who can appriciate quality of food and pleasant atmosphere: the servers don't really bother you unless you call them.

Good Lord. Have I died and crossed over to the Promised Land???????? This place was rockin' and rollin' and I cannot wait to go back!!! I saw the menu and swooned....so many of my favorite foods from around the world! It was so hard to choose! NOT. Tim Bocholis, the oh-so-talented chef, came out to check in with the diners, a gesture which I dearly appreciate. And come to find out, he's worked at Jaleo AND Zaytinya in Washington DC, two of the best restaurants on the planet! The restaurant itself is really adorable (a bit of a problem with limited parking) and our server very friendly and totally familiar with each dish. I think now my plan is to route ALL trips through Kernersville so I have an excuse to dine here as often as I can. This is a GEM of a restaurant!

My wife and I recently bought a Groupon for Bistro B and we couldn't have been more pleased. First off it is located conveniently in downtown Kernersville in a quaint little alley. The first thing we noticed is that the staff are very friendly and helpful in walking you through the menu options, helping you decide what you may enjoy the most and being attentive. The food here is excellent and always changing. We ordered the cheese sampler platter, lamb empanadas, the white salad and papas bravas which are spicy-perfectly-cooked potatoes. We finished with some great coffee and fried bananas with vanilla bean ice cream. We wanted to try even more options but we will have to come back again.

I recommend that you avoid this place for events. It is unreliable. Tim the owner/chef completely abandoned my party of 12 after agreeing to host my event. I emailed and spoke with Tim on multiple occasions the week leading up to an event lunch on a Saturday. We had agreed to a late lunch at 2:30 for a party of 12 and that we could order off the menu. The day of the event, I called around 11 to switch to takeout and told him in would call in an hour or so to place order. Was told that takeout would be fine, that they were ready for us. I called back at 2:30 sharp to place the order and was informed that the kitchen closed at 2pm and they would not be able to prepare our meal. Tim himself told me that he closed the kitchen at 2pm and sent his staff home. I was left with 12 hungry customers and nowhere to take them at 12:30. Tim offered no apology or reasoning. He said I should have called back sooner. Was informed by the staff at the studio where the group was recording that this was not the first time that this has taken place.
