"Wiping down [marble] countertops and surfaces with warm, sudsy water and a nonabrasive sponge or cloth is the best method for cleaning, but it will not remove etching or stains that have had time to permeate the surface." ‪#‎marblecountertops‬ ‪#‎kitchencleanup
“Nothing moves like marble,” says Stephanie Laney, lead designer for Surfaces USA, referring to the impression of movement created by the veining inherent in the carbonate stone. “We love the movement.” What most people don’t love, however, is the concern that comes with cleaning and caring for the popular, porous surface famously susceptible to etching and staining, especially in the kitchen. Luckily, according to marble experts, where there’s a...

"In the kitchen there are many opportunities for design moments. Some require major renovation work and are worth noting now so you can pay attention to them during a future remodel. Others are so easy that they require only some weekend handiwork or rearranging." #kitchenrenovation   #kitchendecoration
Those parts of a home that make you pause and admire, feel happy, surprised, intrigued or nostalgic — those are all design moments. Throughout a happy home, there are special details everywhere — some are clever, some are very personal, some are big and in your face, while others are quiet and thoughtful. In person they stop you in your tracks; online they make you linger on a photo and save it for inspiration. In the kitchen there are many oppor...

Great kitchens come in small sizes, too! This Denver  #kitchenremodel feels open and bright with +Crystal Cabinet Works Inc white cabinetry, ceiling-height crown moulding and beautiful Mesquite granite countertops and backsplash.
Despite its size, this kitchen remodel has the appearance of a larger, more open space due to the clean lines of the white cabinets, the height of the ceiling crown, and the striking Mesquite granite

Selecting new cabinetry for your  #kitchenremodel  involves more than choosing the door style and finish color you love. Deciding on the framework of the cabinetry is an equally important factor that will greatly influence the look of your kitchen.

We had our Kitchen remodeled by BKC, our designer was Paul. We had 3 other designers give us ideas and quotes about remodeling our Kitchen. We then went to BKC and met with Paul. Paul was very good at designing, planning and helping us chose material that was within our budget. He provided us with an exceptional guidance of the process and a beautiful finished kitchen. Paul was easy to work with, he worked well with our contractor which is a plus if you plan on using your own contractor. BKC has a wonderful selection of cabinets, handles and a list of vendors to get granite, tile etc from. In the end our kitchen is beautiful, we could not be happier and really appreciate the help from Paul, and Dan on making our experience truly exceptional. Thanks BKC

Warm, affable, experienced and capable staff. I was lucky enough to work with Heather Smith. Her professionalism, creativity, thoughtfulness of design and ability to handle the myriad details with grace makes me want to shout from the mountain tops. Oh, and did I mention that my kitchen is on Houzz? Thank you, Heather.

I am a local contractor and I have been using BKC for the last 5 years. It is easy for me to send my clients here because I know how well they will be taken care of. They have several choices in cabinets which makes it easy for any budget. Paul takes care of me and is great at getting back to me in timely manner. I usually just send in dimensions and he takes it from there. Great vision and knowledge makes the install seamless.

Working with Paul Lintault was an exceptional experience. He is very personable, knowledgeable and professional. He helped to educate us regarding the lines of cabinetry carried by BKC. He shared the nuances of each product line and answered all our questions, which allowed us to make an educated decision when we selected Crystal Cabinets. He spent a great deal of time and effort designing the kitchen and bath based on our discussions. Also, his years of experience have allowed him to create a library of skilled, professional vendors to implement our vision for this project. The installer was also a real gem. His work was of the highest standard. As a result of our experience, we consider BKC to be a premier organization in the kitchen and bath arena and they hire employees of exceptional quality who promote the values of BKC everyday.

This is my third project with Caitrin McIlvain at BKC Kitchen & Bath and my experience hands down has been top notch. Caitrin is just the best! She is beyond professional and very detail oriented and accommodating and mindful of any budget. Her input is always thoughtful in terms of aesthetics and functionality Caitrin is a pleasure to work with! I have worked with a lot of local kitchen/cabinet planners as an Interior Designer and I have never had any of the nightmare mistakes that past installations have presented. The Crystal & Medallion lines are of very high quality and hold up well to daily wear and tear. You will not regret working with BKC!

After visiting several providers, I chose Peter Von Esten of BKS for kitchen cabinets of my remodel. He was knowledgeable regarding the pros/cons of the wide selection of cabinets BKC offered and gave me creative ideas to enhance the design. As my choice of the design was somewhat different than what was on display, he bought a cabinet for me to see and take home before making a final commitment. As I live in an older home, it was essential that the measurements be exact. Peter returned several times to make sure they were. His working relationship with my private contractor was excellent. When there were problems, he looked for solutions. What was refreshing was his commitment to his work months after the remodel was done. He was still easily available and responsive. There was a point where Mr. Von Esten paid, out of his pocket, to fix an small issue. Now that is truly "going the extra mile". Getting quality cabinets is one thing, getting quality service is what keeps folks returning. I would highly recommend BKC quality and service.

We are so very happy with our new kitchen - and even happier with the support we received from BKC. In the design process, our designer Dorothy was patient, creative, and open to all kinds of questions. She went over everything in detail - above and beyond. They helped us take advantage of manufacturer discounts. During installation our contractor said 'we love it when a kitchen is well designed - everything fits and it all goes together so much easier'. The few issues that needed handling were done quickly and professionally (love the repair guy who swapped out the drawer glide for a heavy duty one). BKC did a great job on our kitchen, and we recommend them highly.

I don't provide many online reviews but in this case I definitely wanted to - I give the highest rating to BKC, specifically Caitrin McIlvain. Caitrin was incredible! I went to her with only a concept and some pictures. She worked with me on the design for the kitchen and bathrooms - being ever conscious of my budget and the look we wanted to accomplish. She was creative with great ideas, solution oriented and paid good attention to the detail. At one point, I was asking for a particular finish and she was astute enough to examine my pictures from Houzz and point out I wasn't saving pictures which matched what I was telling her I wanted - this attention to detail was very helpful - I didn't need someone to blindly follow but I wanted her to lead, suggest and then we would work together on the final design. Post sale - Caitrin has been even stronger than before the sale (if that is possible). Throughout every step - framing, granite tempting (which were not in her scope of work) she was available to support me - whatever the question, whatever the problem she was there with an answer or suggestion. She is a bright light in a sea of resources needed to complete our construction. The end result is a kitchen and several baths that I love - beautiful, functional and within the budget.
