Today's honey highlight is our Littleover Apiaries clear Organic Wildflower with Royal Jelly. We produced this honey from hives placed in certified organic wildflower meadows. Our Organic Wildflower is then fortified with the addition of Royal Jelly, one of nature’s best known wonders. It is then tracked by the organic authorities to maintain its organic integrity. The flavour is sensational with everything you could hope for, plus a lot more, all in one wonderful jar of honey.

Today's honey highlight is one that is sure to bring back memories of those much missed summer holidays - our Pure Greek Honey.

This is a rich, dark honey with a medium to strong taste. Delicious drizzled over feta cheese and crusty bread, as well as for use in baking to complement dark Muscovado sugar.

This piece of the Mediterranean is produced by the bees in the height of the summer, and is also currently on sale at only £2.89 per jar!

“My honey has gone sugary!” is a common complaint that many have. But this is not something to worry about, in fact it’s a sign of quality. All good quality honey will granulate, so if you have opened a jar that has either gone solid or “sugary”, then don’t worry it is only behaving the way nature intended.

To help keep your honey runny, then our biggest tip is not to store in a cold place or refrigerate it. Our advice is to keep it at room temperature. If your honey was set when you bought it, then again don’t refrigerate it as it may go so hard you cannot get a knife in to the jar to spread it.

If you want to return granulating honey back to clear runny honey, then remove the jar lid and warm the jar of honey on a radiator, by immersing the jar in hot water, or by microwaving it for 15 second bursts until it liquefies again. Providing the heating is done carefully so as not to burn the honey this procedure can be repeated several times without harming the honey or its wonderful properties.

Find out more about why honey granulates on our website - just follow this link!

10 years ago we decided that we wanted to be able to bring you true Organic Honey. It took us a further two years to before we had all the necessary systems and controls in place to be able to produce and pack Organically.

Today (we're rather chuffed to be able to say) we produce one of the largest ranges of Organic honey available. See for yourselves!
