Life is not separated into winners or losers; it's separated into learners and non-learners. If you are a learner, you can accomplish anything. But you must be willing to put in the blood, sweat, and tears of learning new skills, talent—or whatever, in order to succeed—LaRae Quy

The Tortoise and the Hare now work in IT -- the Tortoise in Ops (“Slow and Steady wins the race”) and the Hare in Dev (he’s become an Agile developer). Old rivalries remain, until the Tortoise and the Hare discover they would be more successful if they worked together to build and deploy the apps their customers demand. While it is extremely likely that I would recommend Hertz (gold service is a definite plus), this rental experience was poor. Since the change to checkout, where Hertz chooses to print the contracts at the gate, I spent 45 minutes waiting to leave the Hertz garage after arriving at my car. My car also had sticky residue on the dash and on the controls on the left side of the vehicle - looked as if someone spilled a latte or some other sweet sticky coffee and it was never cleaned.
