The march is beautifully played, but it is not by Sousa. FDR wasn't elected President until Sousa was eight months in his grave; and, from a musical point of view, the style is wrong. There are harmonies Sousa never would have used, and if the conductor was following an allegedly Sousa tempo, he was off by a mile. Pretty good march, but no way is it Sousa--he would never have written a march for FDR in the first place: they belonged to opposing political parties.
