Moved in a few months ago, front landscaping 95% done (and backyard pool & landscaping underway). So nice to finally be done.

Power's on, solar is running, floors are 99% finished, appliances are in, driveway done, and someday soon we'll have landscaping. Maybe just a few weeks away from move-in.

Getting very close to being done with the house. All major construction is complete, inside and outside painting done, counters, cabinets, sinks, fixtures, most lights, HVAC, Solar, etc is done. Waiting on PG&E to turn on the power so we can heat the place - then wait for the temp & humidity to stabilize before the floors can be sanded and finished. Then the appliances can be installed and we can move in. Oh, and the landscaping just started (driveway & walkways first, between rain storms).

Progress continues, mostly on the inside. Sheetrock, floors, cabinets, doors, trim, and tubs all in. Next big steps are interior painting, floor sanding & finishing, and then the installation of all the electricals/lighting/appliances. Still hoping for mid-Feb.

House has a roof, windows, doors, and all rough wiring & plumbing. The siding is partially installed, no rock work yet. I've pulled close to 3000' of wires through the walls so far, the sheetrock goes up in a week or so.

Rancho rattlers are showing up more and more due to the drought I think.  This is perhaps number 5 or 6 that I've seen this year.  It looks pretty skinny, and I think it is unusual to find them in such a shady spot.

A short time-lapse taken from a mountain pass on our hike around Mt Blanc.   This was our lunch stop, we started out in the morning near the end of that valley below.   It really is that beautiful up there, set the playback quality to 1080p  !
