Another all-important Indie Playlist for you this October 2012 via Sweetest Drippu~
But first -- Kendrick Lamar released his first major label album (#GKMC bb), and in full indie music spirit, we’re all about not talking about it, but totally talking about’s it, nah’mean? Ho.

Today’s theme will be: “____” Kid, M.A.A.D. City.* *M.A.A.D. = my.Angry.Adolescence.divided

Ach, we all know what cities do to das keedz, and how music is all about reflecting all that onto your ears, amiright?

Since everything the SD crew does is (somehow) all for das keedz...

Lemme troll you with some of that sweet quality for a good 20 minutes or so. Take off yer pants, because this is gonna slippey and slidey.

Sweetest Drip: An Indie Music Blog

Welcome to Sweetest Drip, an indie music blog spiraling its way across various tubes to bring you tasty, condensed drippings of anything and everything the world-wide underground scene has to offer. So why Indie?

When it comes to independent music, there's only one word we can think of that defines our whole approach: Potential.

Indie music offers an alternative to the bling-hounding quacks that call themselves artists, a refreshing breath of pure potential over pre-heated mass-production. The source, and genre could span the spectrum, emerging from innovative rock bands, or solid one-lady Indie DJ acts.

For the most part, we know that the best indie music being released is probably the best music coming out of our era. Too bad not everyone can hear them, considering how fragmented the scene is. We're trying to bring some of those Indie Music drippings together

It's okay indie fashionista, and dearest virgin audio-purist, we're here to act like reliable gentlemangs in yellow coats, casting our mp3 and streaming music nets through the schizophrenic ocean of mix-tapes, demo's, sarcasm and remixes--just to bring you the best we can catch. Also it'd be cool to say we're doing this to justify drinking and smoking and listening to music as "werk, ja'.

From indie rock playlists, indie girls, art and fashion, we'll try to bring the best we can find to you. Cross-fade-click to Sweetest Drip to get indie band and artist information.

Our baked writers will try to burn what you want to know into your most beautiful retinuts as soon as we find it. If you're looking for a compelling indie album review, we're on that ass too. So to pull it all together we're here to bring you the best the indie scene has to offer.

No hormones, none of that umbrella-record-label bullshit (if we can help it), and no crying fucks saying everything sucks. "Just hunks". We're not here to express some image, or talk about how fucking tasty some hipster with a trust-fund looks, and we're not here to hate on them so much either. There's shit to do, music to listen to, albums to download and buy.

So Why Indie, Sweetest Drip? Because we see talent everywhere, and we want to contribute to it. We see dumb-asses running blogs, and we'd like them gone. Also we'd like a reason to go on road-trips that get us arrested.

We're a group of jaunty lads who enjoy beer and good bout of cricket. On weekends we have ourselves a tea and crumpet, and discuss the finer points of indie bands whilst enjoying some freshly-delivered clotted cream.

For some reason, I also have to talk about indie jeans, movies & films, but I'm not quite sure we have the time to cover that crap. Maybe in the future.

Turbinado, indie style.
