Working on a little project with Salt Lake City Green Bike (bike sharing program) as they work on a method to "rebalance" the bikes among the various stations. #GreenIsFun

I live in Utah County and look forward to the occasional trip to Saturday Cycles. I recently purchased special edition Sugino cranks that no one else in the state would stock. Mark let me ride one of his Rivendell bikes so I could get a feel for what steel bikes were all about. Now I'm hooked! I have now bought a couple of bikes from Saturday Cycles and love coming back!

Mark and the entire staff are the best! i truly cant say enough great things.... and i have been to shops all across the u.s.... they collectively have every kind of experiential knowledge you would need to make the best choices for your goals and your money.

BUY LOCAL FIRST!!!. I went to buy tubes for my cheap bicycle. When you enter the store there's so many fine and nice bicycles that make mine look bad. However, these guys are just passionate about what they do, they never judged me or my bike. They're very helpful, but over all, they are VERY HONEST. They just won't try to slam you in things you don't want or need. They'll advice you! I thought my wheels needed some alignment, but when I took them there, they said they were not bad, so things like these make me realize how honest they are in their business. It might just looked like something simple, but certainly know how to spot a BS'er and these guys are certainly NO BULLS**T. Highly recommended!!!

Came in for a chain. Cashier charged me 10$ to put on the chain that I had bought at the store. Also told me it was possible to cut off a finger while changing a chain. My bike is a free-wheeling bike. Shop is dirty. Worst part of the experience, theres a crappy orange frame blocking the signature teal/blue/silver Italian bike that sits overhead the register. The place has really gone downhill.

I think I'm familiar with all the bike shops in Salt Lake City, and this one is by far my favorite. They stock things that no one else does: steel-frame bikes by Surly and Salsa, frames by Rivendell, saddles by Brooks, panniers by Ortleib and Arkel, and so on. Recently my wife decided to buy an entry-level bike. We didn't start with Saturday Cycles, because I assumed other shops would have a larger selection. We ended up, however, with a bike from Saturday Cycles. Plus there is the ambience. If there were a bike shop on Diagon Alley, it would look like Saturday Cycles.

A lot of bike shops can be really pretentious, this is not one of those bike shops. I'm a novice and haven't ridden in a year and am new to Utah. John at Saturday Cycles made me feel welcome and didn't care that I don't know a ton about bikes. I thought I was going to have to pay a lot of money and the man said told me how to get a better deal on a tune up due to the specifics of my bike. I'm using the remainder of my moneys to buy some new shorts. Thanks guys.

Saturday Cycles is exactly what I've always been looking for in a bike shop. I quite familiar with many different shops, and can confidently say that Saturday is the perfect blend of everything I could want in a shop. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, fun, and as far from pretentious as you can get. While most shops in SLC seem to cater to either the roadie or hardcore MTB crowd, you see folks from every form of cycling in Saturday. That is an especially refreshing thing for those of us out there who just want to get around, get things done, and have fun on a bike while doing it. The atmosphere is great- I don't think I've ever been in there without someone on staff inviting everyone to some fun community event happening that night. Great people, great shop, great bikes. Thanks Saturday Cycles!
