We really enjoyed the ambiance of this place. The food is quite unique and a welcomed, sophisticated take on some regional Mexican dishes. We had Empanadas (appetizer), Mole Poblano, Filete Mignon, Torta de Elote and Churros rellenos (dessert). The empanadas, filete, and churros we all wonderful. I would order those gain. Torta de Elote was especially unique. The mole was likely authentic, but the flavor just wasn't for us. Others may like it.

I am Mexican, and very picky when it comes to Mexican food. This joint is great! Great relaxed atmosphere, and the food amazing! I got surprised by the menu, in Mexico City only the best places have this kind of ingredients, such as huitlacoche and pipian, just to mention a few. Tried panuchos and sopes, very good. Dessert? "Caballeros pobres". Make yourself a favor and ask for that dessert.

Living in San Francisco, every native and resident has their go-to taqueria. For me, it's this place. I have never left disappointed. From their burritos, nachos or quesadilla... They use the most flavorful ingredients.

I came here with a friend after work cause we both were on this now lost objective of finding the best churros in SF. So far this place is it! The only thing I got here was the churros and the classic margarita. Everything is good: the service, the churros and ice cream and the margarita was strong. The only negative is that it is expensive!

Four stars for their brunch, three stars for dinner. The first time I dined here was for dinner and I ordered the chicken mole. I thought it was pricey, but it was a pretty good meal. However, I suggest coming here for brunch. Everything on their brunch menu looked delicious. I always order chilaquiles, and I did, but I was close to ordering the huevos rancheros. I ordered the chilaquiles with the red sauce, and it came with fried eggs and black beans. The chips were crispy. The red sauce was flavorful, especially with the egg yolk. The plate looks small, but I was pretty full after I finished. I just wish it had avocado, but it was already around $15 and I didn't want to be charged extra. And my roommates and I ordered guacamole as an appetizer. What I didn't like was that we were charged an extra $2 for chips. You get a trio of salsas to start, and our salsas came with a basket of chips along with homemade corn tortillas. The menu does state that when you order guacamole, you can order the chips for the extra price. We never specifically ordered it, but yet we were charged. My roommates and I didn't want to argue over $2, but if you don't want to be charged, ask the waiter before s/he puts the chips down. Overall, I had a very delicious brunch. The place is small, yet welcoming. I recommend making reservations on OpenTable if you do dine here.

They serve complimentary fresh made tortillas along with our appetizers of civeche which was really good. We enjoyed their guacamole. We want to come back for sure and eat more.

I've been here about 10x now, I have something different each time and everything has been very good. The seating is a little tight between the tables and each other but the food makes up for it. There is always a line out the door on saturday and sunday mornings so be sure to be there before 930 am if you don't want to wait a long time in line.

3 visits to this establishment and they are now back to good. The food has always been excellent but the service is hit or miss. My most recent visit had phenomenal service and the best Eggs Benedict I have ever tasted! I subbed meat (I believe it was supposed to be chorizo) for veggies, the veggies were outstanding as was the Hollandaise and i can't say enough about the perfectly poached eggs! Oh, added bonus: bottomless Mimosas!
