V-I-C-T-O-R-Y!!! Two of the oldest, dirtiest coal plants in the U.S.—Chicago's Fisk and Crawford—are shutting down for good!

Congratulations to the community-led organizations that have been fighting to close these polluting plants for years: Little Village Environmental Justice Organization (LVEJO), PERRO, the Chicago Clean Power Coalition (which includes RAN Chicago), and all the folks that have done the work to make this happen!

They turned them into “Automated Truth Machines.” (Now they're exponentially more useful than the totally useless Wells Fargo ATMs in the Mission.) Hacking! Rainforest Action Network explains how ...

Report card time! It's that time of year when big banks get graded on their funding of the dirty, polluting coal industry from mountaintop removal mining to coal-fired power plants. Who got an A? Who got an F?
