Report card time! It's that time of year when big banks get graded on their funding of the dirty, polluting coal industry from mountaintop removal mining to coal-fired power plants. Who got an A? Who got an F? http://bit.ly/Ir8vfR

Rainforest Action Network's recent report exposes the devastating effects of palm oil plantations on Sumatra's Tripa forest and all its inhabitants.

Tell Cargill to adopt the safeguards on the palm oil it trades to guarantee that it is not profiting from situations like Tripa: http://bit.ly/HsnaT6

V-I-C-T-O-R-Y!!! Two of the oldest, dirtiest coal plants in the U.S.—Chicago's Fisk and Crawford—are shutting down for good!

Congratulations to the community-led organizations that have been fighting to close these polluting plants for years: Little Village Environmental Justice Organization (LVEJO), PERRO, the Chicago Clean Power Coalition (which includes RAN Chicago), and all the folks that have done the work to make this happen!

YES!!! Denim giant Levi Strauss & Co. has taken a stand for rainforests AND sworn off purchase of any products from infamous rainforest destroyer Asia Pulp & Paper.

Would you like to see all U.S. companies follow Levi's lead to choose paper suppliers that are free of rainforest destruction?
