Always amazing food. This is a must eat every time I'm back in Lexington, something I get homesick for. Huge portions for the price. I've been going here since their opening day! The garlic bread is to die for. I always get half black beans and corn half spinach artichoke parmesan, when they're both available. I've tried everything on the menu and nothing disappoints. They'll let you taste if you're unsure about something on the menu. Pair it with an Ale 8 one for a true Lexington treat. Huge hot sauce selection.

Absolutely amazing. I eat here every time I am in town and end up licking my plate at the end. The gumbo is to die for. With a little kick. The chicken etouffe is also very good, not as noteworthy as the gumbo. I usually order a half size and it is plenty of food for one. Very fast service as well.

Just the most amazing food in Lexington. Seriously. It's that good. I literally water at the mouth thinking about eating here. Lunch gets really busy and it's a small place... so good luck finding a table.

Good food for a good price. Ate a late lunch here trying to cure a post UK vs IN exit hangover.. The atmosphere was very casual, neighborhood feel to it. They had some games on that the staff were enjoying in between helping costumers. I liked the laid back feel. The menu is daunting if new to cajun food. But the guy working the register was helpful with recommendations. Even let a friend sample a couple foods. I ended up going the the jambalaya, it was good. It did lack some spice and a little flavor from what I was expecting, it being cajun and all. But there were dozens of different hot sauces to help with that. I tried whatever my friend ordered, it looked terrible, but was better than jambalaya. I'll definitely be back to try some different food, especially for the price on a plate.

Great local location for delicious Creole and Louisiana food. Personal favorite is the chicken etouffee. They provide well priced food and a great selection of hot sauce.

Best cajun food in town. It's got its own vibe as a campus dive/hole in the wall. Known for their etouffee, don't overlook the black bean and corn dish. I hate how the tables always feel a little sticky though...

Oh my, where to start. Ever since I came here the first time, I've never had a bad experience. It's usually crowded during lunch and dinner time because it's so good. The portions are pretty big, meaning you may take some home depending on how hungry you are! The staff has always friendly and work with you if anything happens with your order. Pro tip: try their Tammys Thai Peanut dish... If it isn't sold out already ;)
