Best food ever. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either stupid or doesn't have taste buds. I would gladly feed my dogs (if I had one) this amazing food!!! The fettuccine Alfredo is my favorite! It has an authentic taste and when I can't eat the whole thing and I microwave it at home it still tastes just as good! Unlike other Italian restaurant's that dry and horrible. Lets not forget the spinach artichoke dip<3 ammmmazing I love this place!

This place is a dive but one of the best Italian restaurants in the valley that I've been to. I got the chicken parmesan and a cannoli for dessert which was absolutely tasty! They also serve a variety of beer and wine which is also pretty awesome. I lived within a mile of this place for a year and never noticed it and now it's my and my brothers go-to place for italian food.

Amazing food and great service. Our waitress was hilarious and very helpful. Everyone in our party of 6 enjoyed their meals, my manicotti was some of the best I've ever had. Can't wait to go back!

Not impressed at all!! My husband and I walked in and stood there for over ten minutes before we were seated, mind you there was absolutely no one in the restaurant! The cook had to seat us, before we got a waiter who was too busy standing out back smoking. You can get better service and better food going to a fast food restaurant. The people who said that this place is "the best they've ever had" or "the best in Utah" clearly haven't been to a authentic Italian restaurant and need their taste buds checked because that was the WORST meal. The waiter aimlessly walked around and stared at us because he had nothing to do. He hardly talked and never asked us how our food was. Everything we had was clearly frozen and from a can.

I'm very sorry about your unpleasant experience. I understand that you do not like smokers. It is not a reason to discriminate against employees. I also understand that he had taken a break before you arrived and was the only server which is why our Chef sat you. Hand washing is required before returning to serve food which he did. My staff remembers you quite well. I find it odd that you made no mention of any of this while you were there. When the server did his check back you mentioned nothing. If the food was so awful (which your opinion seems to be in the vast minority), why would you get to go boxes for it? 43 dollars for a meal for two is not at all unreasonable. Since you only had water I'm guessing you had an appetizer and salads and/or desserts. As far as his hovering goes it's the only way to refill your waters 8 times. It's difficult to do that if you aren't present. As far as your being proud to stiff a server I find it repulsive. You claim you stiffed him because he served you food you wouldn't give to your dog (which you took home). Shame on you. If you can't afford the gratuity you shouldn't dine out. The Department of Health visits us often. They had their Christmas party here last year. Normally I invite people back when they have a bad experience. Not this time. I'd prefer you take your business elsewhere where large corporate restaurant chains tolerate people like you who are proud to stiff a server because you didn't like the food he served you. Once again- shame on you.

My husband and I tried this place because of the high rating. I am Italian, grew up with Italian food and have visited Italy many times. The spinach dip was very good with the garlic bread. My husband had calamari, he said the flavor was good, but it was a little under cooked. For our entree, I had the chicken marsala, which is usually my favorite. It also had a good flavor, but over the noodles tasted watered down. It was almost like the pasta wasn't strained well. The pasta was also just blah. Either a cheap pasta or they didn't salt the water before boiling it. My husband had Penne Rustica. It had a good flavor but tasted watered down as well. Same problem with the pasta. On the plus side, our server was excellent. Very friendly and attended to our needs. I feel this restaurant has potential. definitely needs to tweak a few things.

I don't understand why in the hell this place continues to get outstanding ratings. My wife and I went here once and one time was too many. I noticed a post about how good their manicotti was. Fyi to everyone, I had their manicotti. If you like the taste of microwaved food that burns your mouth every bite you take then be my guest. Also, the food costing 43 dollars for just my wife and I was beyond outrageous. I usually tip the people that serve my food even if the service wasn't great because I know that's how they make most of their income. I didn't feel one bit of regret not tipping our waiter that stunk like cigarette smoke, served food that I wouldn't feel right giving to my dog, and walked around hovering with us being the only people in the restaurant. Everything me and my wife went through there was just wrong. I hope these guys get a visit from the department of health. Not kidding.

One of the best Italian restaurants in town. Definitely more than worth the affordable price. Lunch menu is served in perfect lunch-proportions at a price that won't break your wallet. Chef Siragusa has some fantastic daily specials, and everything on the menu that I've ever tasted is wonderful.

If a dive bar and your half Italian mother-in-law had a restaurant baby, this would probably be it. The ambience is what I imagine a roadside diner in Mooresville, Alabama would feel like, with those red and white checkered tablecloths you would expect to see at a family reunion. I assume most of their wait staff live in the woods along Jordan River Parkway. As you are sitting there, waiting on your food, contemplating your life choices, you notice shaggy men circling through the parking lot on bicycles, who goal seems to be colliding with moving cars. Suddenly, a voice draws your attention back inside the restaurant. It's the waitress, with your food. She asks if she can get you anything else, but you are too busy wondering if there is any such thing as a participation trophy-wife, to respond immediately. As you are mindlessly chewing your second bite of Orzo Florentine you begin to notice the flavors and texture. It is actually quite delicious. The fact that you are eating Italian food on Redwood Rd. fades as you pour another glass of Sangria, from the pitcher that was left on the table.
