I've been to Siragusa's in Taylorsville a few times for lunch and have had great experiences. The food is great, the atmosphere is nice, the restaurant is clean. One of the best things about Siragusa's is that their day staff is always super polite and very attentive. I've tried their lasagna (which is GREAT), the shrimp gorgonzola (which was very good), Chicken Orzo (YUM), and the chicken gorgonzola (which was good, but a little strong).

Food is amazing, fresh, and tastes like it is homemade. I keep going back to try more things! Recommended.

Just had our first dinner at Siragusa's - what a nice surprise! It is a cute little restaurant tucked away next to a little grocery and not far from the college. The servers were warm and attentive and very pleasant. The wine and beer list is not extensive, but it is entirely appropriate to the menu with good choices and fair prices - I had the Chianti and it was lovely. My husband had the combo chicken parmesan and lasagna - both were fresh, piping hot and meaty. I had the house salad - nice and crisp and the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp, the shrimp was plentiful and cooked perfectly, not overdone. Very tasty all around. No room for dessert - we'll have to give that a try next time!

This place is quaint and like an Italian café and I love it. I just went to Cottonwood and it was so different as far as size and décor and the food is just as awesome!!

We had a great dining experience there. The food was delicious. I ordered the cappellini with pesto, and my friend had the sweet potato gnocchi. They were both delicious, and then we had some tiramusu. The atmosphere was great! From the outside it doesn't look like much, but they took time to make the atmosphere look great! I will definitely be going back again anytime I want Italian food.

Even 1 star is generous. I will NEVER, EVER go back. The wine was bad, but the food was worse! Nothing seemed to have been made fresh, everything tasted as though it came from a can, and it was covered with so much mozzerella that I had to cut it with a knife. The waitress did offer to exchange my meal. However, being unwilling to risk it, I declined, and left the vast majority of my meal on my plate. Yet NOTHING was comped. I was not looking for a free meal, but some sort of effort to make the experience better would have been appreciated. Instead, the waitress knew that I hated my dinner, that I barely touched it, and I still paid for it. It didn't help that while we were sitting at the table, several employees came in through the back door reeking of cigarette smoke- never a good impression at a restaurant. The way I see it: Either all of these 5 star reviews were written by the owners or employees of this place, or something has seriously changed in the last year. We tried this place because of the reviews, and feel betrayed.
