Causing a lot of stir today is Paleo Pete (again) and his claim that camel milk is "nearly identical in its composition to breastmilk" and safe to use as a substitute. Fortunately many medical associations have come out to correct this false statement and in fact have stated that camel milk is far too high in protein for a human baby and could cause kidney damage - fine for a camel baby though!

Breastmilk is nature's ideal food made especially for your baby. If you are unable to breastfeed, need to supplement or choose not to breastfeed, then seek information and advice from your maternal child health nurse, GP or lactation consultant for suitable formulas for your baby, especially if they have identified heath issues.

Do you have a little one that needs to take medication? My youngest had reflux and getting the medication into her was a nightmare! I wish we had the Adiri MD+ Nurser which is a medicine dispenser and bottle all in one. We have just added it to our store and I'm sure it will be as popular as our other Adiri nursers.

The MD+™ Nurser is the newest innovation from Adiri®. Designed with the advantages of a bottle-feeding system and integrating it with the capability of medicine delivery. Along with advice from practitioners, scientists, lactation consultants, cutting edge designers and engineers, this new type of medicine delivery system was designed with mum in mind. http://bit.ly/1OxcHx5

You have to check out this baby bump! Did you see your belly move like this when you were pregnant. I was able to see my son's hand move - he had a serious punch going there for a while. Seemingly he didn't like my insulin pump resting on him and he used to punch it off every time I lay down in bed. http://bit.ly/1EHL2l7

Well I could never pump enough breast milk to give it away, but if I did it would be for babies. I'm afraid I don't think its necessary for men to have it so they can run marathons better. What are your thoughts on this? Maybe it fits in the 'now I've heard everything' basket. http://bit.ly/1GaI5dE

Breastfeeding: how old is too old?
Breastfeeding is possibly the single most divisive topic a mum has to deal with. We are now encouraged to #breastfeed ‘for as long as possible and practical’, but somehow the idea of a four year old breastfeeding is still offensive to many. So how old is too old? Let's take a look at #extendedbreastfeeding. How long did you breastfeed for?  http://bit.ly/1zhXZOJ
