One step down, two to go. Big thanks to the city for bringing Nashville one step closer to Google Fiber.

SpeakerUp! Do you know about Podcamp Nashville? Do you want to present but afraid or unsure? Come on out to SpeakerUp! and learn about, presenting at Podcamp from the people who have attended and presented. It's a great group and event. Please share this event!
To help you get ready for a great time at PodCamp Nashville 2014, we offer SpeakerUp. Designed to prepare and inspire potential speakers, SpeakerUp will present an interactive panel with some of the best presenters from past Nashville camps for a discussion on picking topics, naming your session, and using presentation tools plus any other questions that come up.

Join us Monday, April 14, at Yazoo Taproom from 6-8 p.m. If you're thinking about speaking at, or even attending #PCN14 , you'll want to attend this event.

$5 to park all night. Not bad.

So I have discovered that classic Jazz is the music that puts me into the zone to learn programming. Never thought it would be that. I used to listen to classical music when doing homework growing up so this isn't too far of a stretch.

Still at it. #RubyonRails

So I'm starting week 3 of learning Ruby on Rails. I started with one book and I was over my head 120 pages in. Then I went back and read "Learning Ruby" to get a good base. Now I'm digging into Beginning Rails 4 and I would have to say it's starting to stick. Page by page I'm understanding. When I'm done with this book I'll go back to the first and see if it makes sense. Overall I like Ruby on Rails. Hopefully, I will be able to create the app I have in my head sooner than later. #rubyonrails

the new +Gmail compose has rolled out and it's horrible. Please put back the ability to open the message in another window.

Are you guys trying to make Gmail less useful? If yes then it's working. Also put the tool bar back at the top. At the bottom is just a pain in the ass to use.
